Kind of random but I tried using this preset with all my settings at low (except for shadow quality) and I gotta say that it looks pretty good! Now I have relatively stable 60 fps and my rtx 3060ti doesn’t turn to a stove! I’ll post some pics of these in the media section.
Can you still use most recent update of ReShade for the RTGI preset or do you NEED to use 4.9.1? Would I also need to use the RTGI shader version that correlates? Seems like the preset works, but the RTGI shader (the one you select in the home menu while in game) crashes
EDIT: You can use the most updated anything, including ReShade and the RTGI files. Crashing just came from user error, fixed after uninstalling ReShade from Elden Ring and trying again with a little more diligence
Unfortunately, that's just how ReShade works. There is a very complicated fix of using UIMask but I haven't around on doing it and it won't fix all of it.
I built this preset with no HDR in mind. One of the shader has an HDR effect but you could always turn on HDR and see if it looks good! Do upload some pics because I kind of want to see :)
I use it with HDR (LG C9) but you need to turn off the bloom effect, otherwise it's just a washed out mess. You'll also need to modify the lightroom's global black level back to 0 to avoid black crushing and change the global white level to about 250 to fix the opposite issue. I'd recommend turning off CAS and Radiant GI, as those have serious issues with artifacts.
If you want sharpening I'd go with clarity instead. The default settings are fine, but feel free to play around with it. Not sure how much power overhead you have, so it's a good idea to have the frame counter on to see how much of an impact clarity has. It's an older shader that isn't super optimized, but still works well.
Hi, thanks for trying my preset out! Go to the shader called AMD Contrast Adaptive Sharpening and try to lower its settings. This shader gives nice sharpening effect and therefore improves how texture looks like but it might be making those cracks more sharp as well. Just remember the original numbers on each setting so you can go back to them. Remember to also uncheck performance mode on the bottom before changing the settings.
I tried that way, but it didn't work. But when I unchecked the MXAO , the shattering shadow disappeared. Any advice for using MXAO together? It doesn't use MXAO, so it's subtly lacking. (It doesn't mean your mod) Sorry to bother you.
Try lowering the “Sample radius” and/or “ambient occlusion intensity” until these effects disappears and you still have good shadow effects. You could also leave all the shader settings normal and turn off antialiasing from the game-menu (sometimes in-game anti-aliasing conflicts with some shaders). If these doesn’t work, I will check this out tonight. Do these cracks show up on armor or just bare skin?
It only appears on the body.Sorry for the late reply due to the time difference between you and me Thank you very much for the detailed explanation, I will try it after work today Again, this is a reshade mod that I really like. have a nice day!
I just got home from work and tried all the methods you suggested. But it was not resolved. However, when I lowered the Render Size Scale from 1.000 to 0.9, the cracks became almost invisible. The specs of the desktop are i9-12900k , 3080ti , 32 ram, 32" Odyssey G7 Gaming Monitor Now I am satisfied and will use it. thank you!
Hi! Can you post a pic here of the shaders on vs off (with ADOF). I made the ADOF not too aggressive. You can try standing next to a wall so that it focuses on the wall and anything on the side/back of the wall will be blurred.
If ADOF doesn’t work at all, open ReShade overlay, click Global Processor Settings (or whatever it is called sorry I’m not on my pc rn), then make sure that the depth plane is set to 5,000 and that the depth bufffer is reversed (type 1 if it’s a 0 then press enter or click out of the overlay).

Anyway to fix?

I've tried about 7 reshades so far, but this is the best.
I just have one question, so I'll leave it here.
It's an important issue because we like to see the cool backgrounds of the game, but we also enjoy seeing the look of the characters.
Visuals from a distance look absolutely flawless, but I want to fix some issues like some cracks at close range, what do I need to adjust?
And thanks for making a great reshade mod.
I apologize for using Google Translate.

The file I received is the first file. Natural Realism
