About this mod

An animation replacer for the Unsheathe Ash of War that changes the look, feel and function of both attacks following a Destined Death + Dragon Cult theme. Includes an optional Retina Burner Edition

Permissions and credits
This was the result of me messing around with a couple of tools for far too long.
The optional Retina Burner Edition has all the visuals dialed to 11 I decided to include it for the funny

What it does:

The animations and behaviors of both Unsheathe attacks have been completely changed using a couple of Vergil animations along with the initial sheathing of the weapon getting some new visuals and sound touch ups.

The light (R1) attack is a diagonal downward slash that fires off two black blade projectiles which have slightly more range than Transient Moonlight's R1 and inflicts the destined death debuff, there's also a small parry window during this attack that only really serves as a way to stun, if you don't cancel the animation too early your character will sheathe the weapon which will execute Maliketh's AOE slash ("not" judgement cut).

The R2 has been changed from a downward slash to an attack that makes you dash a short distance before doing a spin attack using Lansseax's glaive, once again waiting for the animation to complete will do another AOE upon the character sheathing although it's weaker than the R1 one due to it being really quick and easy to do.

I welcome any and all feedback/suggestions

Here's a demonstration video

During the R1 end sheathe you will have i-frames as well as during the R2 dash. Both of these are indicated by your character turning translucent/transparent.
This also doesn't change Moonveil's Ash of War (Transient Moonlight) it only adds some visuals to the sheathing. So you can use it with something like Veil of Destined Death

The Caster Edition makes both attacks cast your most recently used sorcery/incantation, it's more of a "just for fun" addon

Installation:

Same as any other mod
- download and extract Mod Engine 2
- drag and drop contents of the main file into the Mod Engine 2 main directory
- launch Elden Ring through the launchmod_eldenring.bat
- enjoy

For merging with other mods however you'll need to do a couple of extra steps, I'll point you in the right direction.
- To merge .CSVs either manually do it with DSMS or automatically through something like
AMM
- For the .TAEs and .HKXs you'll need Yabber I'll be honest though and say I'm not confident enough to give you a fool proof guide on how to merge .HKXs so you may have to do some digging check the articles tab

If you're stuck or are a more visual learner (or want to start making mods) I'd also consider checking out Scrub Milk's Modding Playlist, he has a guide for almost everything you need to know.`

also big thank you to darkangel115 for giving me some pointers and making the Moveset Mod that not only inspired me to make this but also contained the Vergil animations
