There is currently a bug with 1.3.0 that affects fresh installs and causes the app to silently crash when you try to launch it.
I have released version 1.3.1 that should no longer contain the bug.
Sorry for the mistake! :(

Hi everyone,
I have uploaded a new 1.3.0 version that now includes ModEngine2 2.1.0.0.
It also includes a fix for the mod/dll load order not being saved properly.
I have also decided not to continue development of the per profile saves option for the meantime. It's far too buggy and people are having too many issues with it, even potentially losing save files. I've left it in this version for legacy purposes in case people are still using it but I've left a warning to let people know it's buggy and not recommended.
By default the app will try to use ModEngine2 to detect EldenRing in your steam install. If you had issues with this before then you can now turn off auto detection in the settings page and specify the path to the executable yourself.
The app includes a copy of ModEngine2 with it which the auto detection uses so I would not recommend turning off auto detection for modengine2 unless you want to use a different version or build.
Please let me know if you have any issues with it, thanks.
For some reason metis wont load my mods, I'm launching just by clicking on the play profile button so do I need to run a specific file? I checked metis's logs and didn't see anything.
So can this be used to fully replace modengine2 cause for some mods it just does not read them from what i can tell i.e. mods that just add from Parts, and chr folders
Cannot for the life of me get this to work, "could not find elden ring process' no matter if it's auto detection or if i specify the path to the exe. Any ideas?
UPDATE: Jesus H Christ the fix was so simple that i'm mad at myself for not trying it sooner; simply run metis as an administrator that fixed my issue.
Hello, I am getting the "could not find Elden Ring process" error. When I go to Settings in Metis and try to manually find the path to eldenring.exe, the browse button is grayed out and I can't type the path on the box. Can anyone help me?
Amazing launcher, loved it very much. I am using this with Elden Ring Reforged and Seamless coop along with other mods with no issues. Thank you very much!
