Hello, your mod was very cool and that what keep me playing Elden Ring since I didn't have much time to farm stone and want to try various weapon. But since the last patch, it seems that it doesn't work anymore.
Is that just me ? Is there an update coming soon for patch 1.09 ? Can I fix it by myself ?
I have tried to make the latest version on the old version of DSMS (1.6 for game 1.08.1) and it didn't work, so please forgive me for still waiting for DSMS to release its latest version for game 1.09.
I managed to modifie the new regulation.bin following instructions in mod "0 Smithing and Somber stone for upgrade".
I put them here : 1 - Open Yapped Rune Bear. (I used this one : https://github.com/vawser/Yapped-Rune-Bear/releases/tag/2.14.1) 2 - Go to Tools and Import Names. 3 - Go in the first collum to the : "EquipMtrlSetParam" 4 - In the second collum in the rows 1-25 Set in third collum in the Param : "Material Amount [1]" from 1(or any value) to 0; 5 - For somber stones go to rows 2201-2210 and do the same.
Worked perfect for me, I have only this modification in regulation.bin
oh, thank you for your good intention to help me with this latest update, but it's better if I just wait for the dsms because I haven't used yapped for a long time, I'm worried there will be a conflict in the regulations. thank you for wanting to help me.
I am trying to merge this with other mods and when I go to import the csv you provided nothing happens. I'm sure its a stupid mistake on my end, but in Dsmapstudio I pull up equipmtrlsetparam > edit> import csv> from file>all and its not changing anything. Where did I go wrong? Is anyone else having this issue?
First of all thanks to author for great work. If its not ok to share this quick instruction just send me message, please.
Do backup. Create a new project with copy of yours regulation.bin with DSMapStudio. > Find EquipMtrlSetParam in "Param editor" tab. > Select lines 1 to 25, 2201 to 2209, 10000 to 10009 and 10100 to 10109 using ctrl+click. > In "Edit" select "Mass Edit". In popup type: selection: itemNum01: = 0 click "Submit", there shouldn't be any errors. > In "File" use "Save Params" and "Save All". > Replace this modded regulation.bin with ones in your folder. Tested on 1.08.1. Don't forget that you still need to pay with runes for upgrades (which is cool).
yeeah, THX has helped explain it, indeed I made this mod specifically to help those who are lazy to look for or farm smithing stones and similar upgrade items and just want to focus on fighting and collecting runes without having to bother looking for these items but all of that returns to the enthusiasts.
I tried this and it says 0 cells effected? wont seem to make any changed in my game, any ideas to help would be appreciated!! i have UXM and the game unpacked.
Got it to work! nice mod, very helpful for fickle weapon swappers like myself hahaha
hi, thanks for the idea and the work but would it be possible to have a capture to know which lines are modified so I can do the same thing without replacing my current file. thanks in advance ....
Thx for your respect, if you use the "DSMapstudio" tool you can see letters or text that have a different color to green now that is the text that I have changed / modified.
hi first off thanks for the mod. it works but somehow all my weapon special skill ( L2) has the same action no matter which weapon i use. can u please look into it ?
How can add this to randomized mod? I can edit regulation but i dont know what should I change in the regulation of the randomizer to make the mod work, since both together do not work ..
