The mod is not working for me. I added the extracted files to the game folder, but when I launch the game I still have my normal mount. any help would be appreciated
You need to use modengine 2, configure eldenring.toml so the mod folder is the correct path. Go to mod folder, extract the files from nexus to the "chr" folder, or create one if you don't have any. Launche the game using "launcheldenring.bat"
the correct path is the "mod" folder. open config_eldenring with notepad then make sure the code { enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod" } is present.
I see the exact line you're referencing in the file named "config_eldenring.toml" But I'm a dummy in figuring out how to code this properly. Am I editing the example in front of me? Or going to another part of the document and putting down what I want?
And then...how do I code it exactly is where I am lost too. I have tried the following code: mods = [ { enabled = true, name = "Reindeer_Lite", path = "D:\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\ModEngine-2.1.0.0-win64\\Reindeer_Lite" } ]
I've moved that folder all over the place because I'm unclear if it's supposed to be location above or somewhere else. It's still not working so maybe I'm doing the coding wrong.
EDIT: Thank you for being my rubber ducky today. The code above was exactly right...not sure what was going wrong the OTHER times.
you can just switch the textures if you want it to look black, the thorns however will probably need to be rigged to torrent's model. that's why you should always work on fortisaxx first because then you just remove the thorns and replace the textures and call it lansseax :5head:
