Hey! Nice question, well, fire prelate chest armor is an eyesore too and would love to replace it. Sadly, it has a problem. That being the fact of this armor being bulky to the point where the idle stance changes for one with the arms in a different position, you can see it in other heavy sets like the bullgoat armor or the one with a huge black belly. If you change the ID and replace it (here is the number in case you want to try "1830", just replace the "1660" in the name of the file and that's it.), you'll see that it doesn't look as good.
Poise and damage negation is important for me since I'm a dps at souls games so I need to endure a punch when I eventually take a hit, this turns into a difficult matter at endgame where my healthbar just poofs out of existence with certain enemies, thus I ordered the armors using damage negation and veteran's was the best option. I threw the pieces together and looked for clipping or invisible stuff and found none so I decided to keep it like that.
Hope this answer your question or helps in some way, have a nice day!
Nice looking set. However the Prelate Armor set is heavy and requires a lot of points being spent in endurance. The Veterans Chest piece is also heavy and unless you have reached end game that armor is not available. So in essence unless you put a lot of points in endurance and are at end game this replacement set is pointless. So I changed all the item ID's to replace the Carian Knight Armor Set instead.
You could try and use cheat engine to get the armor and required endurance, just wanted the armor to be useful in endgame but replacing the IDs is also a nice option.

1) Download this
2) Either extract your files with UXM or use Mod engine 2
3) Drop this files into the "Parts"folder. Overwrite if asked.
4) Profit.
I'll throw this into the description. Hope it helps, if not you can consult the install of any other armor mod. It's quite the same.
