1. Can you remove X part of the armor or do color Y?
No. I will no longer be taking requests for new colors or modifications to the models. I have too many mods now and don't want to add unnecessarily to my workload.
2. Will you do 2K or Vanilla versions?
No. The methods I use to make my mods take a long time. I'm someone who is methodical and doesn't like to put less than 100% into my mods. Cutting out 2K/Vanilla versions saves MANY hours of work and a lot of hard drive space. It literally halves the amount I need to do. If it is truly an issue, you are free to downscale the textures in whatever way you see fit, but for personal use only. I do not allow the re-uploading of my mods.
3. Can you upscale something to 2K/4K for me with Gigapixel AI?
No. If you're looking for vanilla textures to be upscaled, then please go to the Texture Improvement mod. It's what originally inspired me to get Gigapixel AI and make my mods just as stunning. They have 2K and 4K versions of the Environment, Characters, Armor and Weapons. It's linked in the Description page.
4. Will you be doing weapons?
I currently have no plans to start in on weapons. Personally, it doesn't bother me if weapons do not match the armors. If it did, I promise you I would have already done them. Never say never, though!
5. Can you recolor/remodel *insert armor set here*?
I'll always hear your suggestions, but I can't appease everyone. I wrote the Recolor Guide and Tutorial for this specific instance. My designs and tastes are not for everyone, and I know I won't be doing all armor sets/pieces because I have to have a certain passion for what I'm creating. Please check out the guide linked in the Description page or go to the Souls Modding Discord for help on your own modding journey.
6. Can I use this mod online?
No. No mods, not even simple recolors, can be used while online. You risk a ban otherwise.
7. I can't get the mod to work.
Please double check the Installation section in the Description page. I test every single color and variation and they all work on my end. The most common reason is usually failing to extract the files of the mod before installing.
8. Can this be used with Seamless Co-op and/or be seen on my co-op partner?
Yes! Please read the Modding Tips section of the Description page for how.
9. How did you make this?
My setup and the tools I used for this mod are listed at the bottom of the Description page.
Quite fantastic. I feel like an absolute badass coming through an enemy encampment in this gear and destroying them. Would you perchance be interested in doing any shields or weapons in this style? I can't find any mods that have a good shield for this color scheme and aesthetic.
I did a while back, but I want to focus on armor. I create these mods for me first, and then decide to share them. Following that, I personally do not use shields and the weapons not matching doesn't bother me. That's also why I wrote a Recolor Guide, so others can create their own to their heart's content :)
I found it very edge, but attractive at the same time. by the way, I was interested in how to get the plume out of the sentry helmet. do you have any advice for doing this?
Tree Sentinel? You’ll need to edit the helmet model in FLVEREditor. I don’t remember if the plume is specifically singled out, which would make it very easy to delete. If it isn’t, you’ll have to delete that part of the model by hand.
well thanks for any help.I tried using FLVERE-model from the tree sentinel from deleted10584835 (https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/575?tab=description) and merging the textures and data from mr.HonorKnight's FLVERE file. has not yet had a satisfactory result.
It should work. All you need to do is take the FLVER model from that mod, and replace the FLVER model in mine with that one. No need to touch textures.
Or alternatively to remove the plume from the albedo texture and if the plume mesh uses materials that support alpha channel(it should use) - the plume will become invisible as well.
