For anyone who wants to disable the randomized weather in specific zones (for example Mohgwyn Dynasty has character lighting bugs with this mod): you can refer to the BonfireWarpParam section in regulation.bin to determine to which zone each number corresponds. Let's say we want to disable the mod in Mohgwyn Palace. First of all, use Yapped and remember to select Field Data -> Import Project Row Names so that you can see the name of graces.
Go to BonfireWarpParam and search for Mohgwyn Palace graces -> you find the rows 120500 to 120505. The first 4 digits are basically the "tag" of each zone. So Mohgwyn is 1205.
Go to WeatherLotParam. Now that you know that Mohgwyn's tag is 1205, you will be able to find its weather params at the row 120500000. You can now edit the values of weather type and weather lottery weight back to the normal unmodded version, and the weather won't change in that specific zone. Enjoy!
If there is any way to completely disable rain in the game and you were to describe how to do it here or, ideally, make a .csv file for it, I would be incredibly grateful. I would even be willing to send you $ for it and would upload it to the nexus for everyone to use that prefers to not have rain in the game.
You could just as easily download Elden Ring Reborn (ERR- which includes Detailed Item Descriptions) and Randomized Weather. Take the CSV from Randomized Weather and import it in ERR's regulation.bin file using Yapped or DSMapStudio. Viola. There you go.
is there an entry on Yapped to completely remove weather effects so the weather would always be "clear"? my PC is not so powerful, everything can run smoothly but whenever it's a rainy or foggy day, it becomes very choppy. it's strange that the weather can have so much more impact on the machine rather than the objects (characters and environment objects).
Is it possible to make any of these the only weather type that will happen in-game? For example the golden-leaf shower weather effect would be nice to have permanently.
