      This mod is basically depreciated.

New version is updated and available here.

The smithing stone changes are in their own mod now for better compatibility, as well.

Damn. I really abandoned this one, huh?

Rest assured I will be playing the DLC, and I doubt I'll be able to do so without itching to mod it again.

So expect this to be updated sometime after the DLC.

Glad to hear that. I'm not touching the DLC at all without this mod installed, can't wait to see what you cook!

OK, threw in an update. This one is kind of a stop gap to just play without the end game stomping you while we wait for the DLC.

I moved away from changing damage and smithing stones for now and only change health, but far more than I have previously. Tiers 15 to 21 follow the exact same DIFFERENCE between them that they did in vanilla, but 14 to 15 has been brought from almost a 20% increase to a 1.4% increase. Also 14's health also matches tier 13's considering it already matched in damage in vanilla anyway.

The result is that Mountaintops of the Giants (tier 13) is still a big jump up in health, but it doesn't jump again after that, follow the exact same trend 15 - 21 follows of going up only slightly. (Remember, the Fire Giant is not tier 13, so he's going to have A LOT less health than vanilla as a result of this.)

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I decided to not update the mod with every patch, as I thought shadow of the erdtree would be releasing a lot sooner after it was announced!

    This, of course, didn't happen.

My current plan is to update this mod to the current patch sometime in the month of January. Once the DLC drops, I won't be updating the mod for a while, or might even depreciate it, or expand it, depending on how the DLC handles difficulty.

Stay tuned! I haven't forgotten about this mod!

Glad to see you're looking to update the mod.  Finished my first run and everything after the capital just felt like a slog.
    3. Mod is a great idea. I have 1k hours in this game and the late game areas seem wasted because they have amazing atmosphere and some nice bosses, but regular enemies are the same s#*! you've fought for the entire game, except have like 7-8x the hp and take off half my bar in 1 hit. This is just tedium, it sucks ass.
I hope you release this mod with CSVs too, since I am using many other tweaks in my regulation.bin plus modengine 2 and I can't use your file, though I would love to.

Would it be possible to do something similar with the scaling of HP, poise/stance, and resistances in co-op, based on how many players are in the session? The Seamless Co-Op mod uses different scaling than the vanilla game, and I'd like to use the vanilla game's co-op scaling instead. The developer for Seamless has said in that mod's Discord that he's not willing to provide options around that scaling for people to do their own tuning if they dislike the approach that he's taken.

I understand your pain sir. I think the scaling is frankly dumb in the seamless co-op mod. FromSoftware was pretty specific with what they adjusted for co-op already so vanilla should be flawless with seamless and if you really want more scaling past three players just install another mod that adjusts scaling. That would be a perfect world however. Instead we live in a world where you ask for something simple, and a guy with anime children for his profile pic gets mad at you for not worshipping him.

    Hello,

Can the 1.08 version still be used for 1.09? If not do you plan to update the mod and if not can you give a quick tutorial on how to do it myself.
    Thank you.

Thanks for this. I don't think Fromsoftware game tested post-capital much at all. I never want to have to deal with the bubble bois taking half my health at 60 vigor on the branches ever again lol

Though, I still think some of the weird scaling begins to happen within the capital - especially with some of the knights.

Hey all, I wanted to ask, how compatible is this mod with the Reforged mod? Should I only use 1 or are both able to be used?

Looking at the regulation.bin for Reforged, I can't really tell how it's changing the difficulty, but it does seems like every single area tier is altered, as well as many more things in SpEffectParam, so this mod would not be compatible.
