My computer says this is a virus! - Antiviruses hate DLLs for various reasons, and will mark third-party DLLs as viruses basically at random.
I'm playing the game on Linux using so-and-so, will your mods work? - Yes, the mods should now work on Linux.
Will using mods get me banned? - No, you cannot use these particular mods unless EasyAntiCheat is disabled and EAC won't retroactively punish you for disabling it (I can't guarantee that it won't react to altered saves).
Can I play online with mods? - As stated, you can only play with these mods if EAC is disabled, this forces the game into offline mode.
Can I use this mod with this-and-that? - Most likely, you will have to test for yourself. Just make sure you don't have other things modifying the same memory (Flawless Widescreen, etc).
If you have any issues, then please comment below with the contents of log.txt for the relevant mod(s).
Im using this mod for over 100h and game just looks way better without that vignette filter. Thank you very much for improving my and many others experience with the game!
Will loading a save file that used this mod previously get me banned if I go online? I'm doing a solo DLC prep run right now but I will be playing multiplayer when the DLC comes out. I'd like to remove the ugly vignette, at least for now, but not if I'll get banned for it. You mentioned not knowing if EAC will react to altered saves but maybe someone can confirm??
I just tried that coz wanted to do Varre quest and it went without any issues, i tried only for hour or so of playtime so idk if playing for longer will change things. I played offline since creation of character and went online to do quest.
Thank you so much for this! I'm not sure why developers think making me feel like I'm developing Glaucoma adds to the game in any meaningful or pleasant way.
Flawless Widescreen was causing issues with HDR for some reason, and switching to loader method fixed it.
Is it possible to instead of completely remove it, just reduce the amount of vignette with the loader method? I kinda like a little vignette even in 32:9.
Found a solution to your question? Would like a little bit of vignette as well like in flawless widescreen but like the elden mod loader way more aside from that.
A crappy one, but it works if you have nVIDIA and GeForce Experience installed. Try using its filters (called Freestyle in the past), pressing alt F3. You have the option to add vignette and customize the intensity.
