BULLET POINTS
The goal of this mod was not to make the game easy, but to make the game fair. To accomplish this goal, this mod takes many of the unbalanced aspects of the game and rebalances them in an attempt to make the game more fair while still retaining the signature difficulty

This mod is still a w.i.p so feel free to give me your feedback (if it's good) in the comment section, the last thing I want is for this mod to make the game too easy. There are still many more things I would like to do with Elden Ring such as modifying enemy and boss hit boxes, or even restoring cut content however I'm very new to modding this game and I don't have the knowledge to do so, so if anyone has links to useful modding tutorials please post them in the comments!
NOTE! As of posting this I have not tested this mod myself but I will be doing so in my next playthrough.
INSTALLATION
- Install ModEngine2 (https://github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2)
- Open the downloaded zip file and drag and drop "regulation.bin" into
"\ELDEN RING\Game\ModEngine-2.0.0-preview3-win64\mod"
- Make sure to play offline

This game has a very large spike in difficulty once you reach the Mountaintops,
to correct this the large increase in enemy damage has been reduced and area scaling as a whole has been rebalanced to be more gradual.

POISE
In Elden Ring, Dark Souls 1 style poise was brought back, however unlike DS1 every enemy in ER does either 50 or 100 poise damage.
Meaning if you don't have poise that is above 50 you don't have poise at all, and I don't know about you but I probably played 85% of the game with poise below 50, not to mention even if you do have above 50 poise that will only allow you to survive one attack without being staggered.
To fix this problem I've changed the amount of poise damage enemies deal on a per enemy basis (does not apply to bosses).
