About this mod

All helmet hair has been removed. Some helmets have been reworked to allow player hair to display.

All Helmet Hair Removed

All helmet hair has been removed from the helmet models.

The regulation.bin file contains edits for Malenia's Helm and Elden Lord Crown, to allow player hair to show. Malenia's helm will clip with some bigger hairstyles, this currently can't be fixed.

To Install
1.
  • Download Mod Engine 2 here: https://github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases
  • Click Assets, then download the top .zip file.
  • Extract the contents of the .zip onto your PC. 

2.
  • Download the mod and extract the contents of the zip file into the "mod" folder in the same directory as the "modengine2_launcher.exe".
  • Click launchmod_eldenring.bat to launch the game.

Removal
  • Delete the contents of the "mod" folder in the same directory as the "modengine2_launcher.exe".

Merging:

Regulation.bin changes made (DIY)
  • In EquipParamProtector:
  • (Malenia's Helm) In row 770000, change Masks 62, 66, 67, 69 to 0
  • (Elden Lord Crown) In row 460000, change Masks 62, 63, 66, 67, 68, 69, to 0
