    Very happy to be able to bring a new preset to this pack this year! Had someone in the Dark Souls 2 Lighting Engine discord inform me of the AgX tonemapping system recently and of course I had to invest time into figuring out how to implement it in different ways! What I've done is use the wonderful AgX shader that you can find here (GitHub - MrLixm/AgXc: Fork of Troy.S AgX, a display rendering transform available via OCIO and more) and used that in order to make a LUT that only has the color information from AgX, but no contrast information. That way I can apply it to whatever and it won't interfere with the tonemapping already used in these presets.

    If you've never heard of AgX like me until recently, it's a form of tonemapping that provides an incredible range of color handling. I am not the best person to explain it but here are a couple youtube videos that can show the difference it can make and explain it a bit better than I can.

    Hope you guys enjoy the new preset and Happy New Year to everyone!!

    I know I said I probably wouldn't update this ever again, but I've been messing around with some LUTs for a bit and got a really nice dark fantasy cinematic style that I wanted to post here so I went ahead and updated this to be a bundle pack of 3 ReShade presets! So now you have three variations to choose from all in one zip file.

    I also decided to remove the LiftGammaGain shader that I was using to do a slight color temperature shift in favor of just letting the color gamut and LUT shaders do all the color changes themselves.

    Vibrant: The original more vibrant version of the preset with the richest colors of the 3

    Realistic: Wider color gamut for a more realistic and less saturated world

    Cinematic: Very grim dark fantasy style, more neutral toned colors and almost completely eliminates the blue overtone in shadows in a lot of areas while not straying too far from the original game's color palette or losing much color saturation

    Hope you guys enjoy! Will upload updated screenshots with some showing off the new cinematic preset in the next day or two.

    Edit: All screenshots have been updated other than the thumbnail image!

    After finishing my first playthrough, starting my second playthrough, and about 300 hours total put into the game I decided to put out a small update for these two presets! I mainly just wanted to update the realistic one, because after using it a bit more on my second playthrough I noticed it was a bit too oversaturated. But I figured I could add the slight change I made to my personal version of the regular preset as well as package both presets with the bloom and no bloom versions in the same zip folder, so the download page isn't so bloated. I will post updated screenshots for both presets in the coming days!

    Version 1.1 changes:

    Increased the highlights for both presets a bit which increases the overall contrast.

    Changed the color gamut for the realistic preset as well as lowered the Vibrance to the same level as the regular preset. Making the only real difference between the two the color gamut change. The new version has better greens, reds, and purples from my time testing it. And the overall color range is much more fitting for something labeled realistic.

    This will likely be the one and only time I ever update this so hope you guys enjoy! All old files will be left up for anyone who prefers those as well.

    I also just wanna say thank you to everyone who has left a comment over the past few weeks. I really appreciate all the kind words from everyone and it's awesome to hear from people enjoying this preset :D

    Edit: All screenshots other than the thumbnail image have been updated for version 1.1! I tried to recreate most of my favorite screenshots that I had up before. REALLY big Demon's Souls PS5 vibes from the Realistic preset now and I am super happy about it.

      After installing ReShade through the steps listed in the description find the ReShade config file in your steamapps/common/ELDEN RING/Game folder, it should just be named ReShade.

      Open the ReShade config file in whatever text editor you use, I would recommend using Notepad++ though for config files as it helps keep the proper formatting and is easier to read when scrolling through them.

      In the config file there will be a section labeled [INPUT] and under that section are these values:

      ForceShortcutModifiers=1
      InputProcessing=2
      KeyEffects=123,0,0,0           - This one toggles the effect on/off
      KeyNextPreset=0,0,0,0
      KeyOverlay=36,0,0,0           - This one opens/closes the ReShade UI
      KeyPerformanceMode=0,0,0,0
      KeyPreviousPreset=0,0,0,0
      KeyReload=0,0,0,0
      KeyScreenshot=44,0,0,0

      You only need to change the first out of the 4 numbers for each, looks like it just lets you have 4 possible keybinds if you wanted. So you can leave the other 3 at 0.

      Here is a link where you can find whatever keybind code you would like to use:

    7zip is good but I still have to use winrar to select multiple files and throw them into separate archives in one action. When I tried to do this on 7z it took longer to figure out than the amount of times I'm likely going to do this in my lifetime.

    All of them look great from the screenshots. Not sure which one to choose. Too many good choices 😅. I'm leaning towards the cinematic though based on the screenshots.

      I have not personally tested it, but I know ReShade itself does work with HDR. It might look quite a bit different from the screenshots I have posted though.

      Let me know if you end up testing it!

      Awesome to hear! Yeah the AgX preset is very cool, it has some WILD effects on colors depending on the intensity of the base game color.

      I need to do a full playthrough with that one myself!

      Been using reshades with From Software games for years and never been banned, same with everyone I know. So you shouldn't have to worry about it!
