About this mod

I've included few saved games and some accompanying notes (that I took for my own "fun" historical records).
All of these involve the Tailio long term survivor species, who are the first real and non-glitched surviving Lish species.

All of these involve the Tailio long term survivor species, who are the first real and non-glitched surviving Lish species.
The recently updated "Lish, a Land Fish Above Water Guide" section of my Ecosystem Steam Guide gives some key settings and pro tips on how to more effectively Lish without modding.

Feel free to check out the base land save maps that these save games are based on at https://www.nexusmods.com/ecosystem/mods/5
These species and base terrains can be downloaded from the Steam Workshop.

*Some of these maps are older map saves that might be larger and slower to load than you are used to with modern saved maps.

Save: glTailio905.dat
Type: Game, Land
Time/Generations: 97, 8-12
Desc: Sample of a Tailio land game with flat rolling hills

Save: gTailio017.dat
Type: Game, Land
Time/Generations: 370, 29-31
Desc: rolling hills; Tailio are confined to the valley since they can not climb

Save: gTailio617waterfixed.dat
Type: Game, Water
Time/Generations: 470, 27-34
Desc: land map with open flat area to see how Tailio does; has a tower in the SW

Save: gTailio616.dat
Type: Game, Land
Time/Generations: 470, 27-34
Desc: copy of (gTailio617waterfixed.dat) where it glitched and this map had water unintentionally added and did not negatively affect the creatures like usual when water is instantly added to them; this gives an interesting perspective of the exact same creatures (not respawned) in the same environment with Land vs Water

Save: LishMating077.dat
Type: Creative, Land
Time/Generations: 1506, 674-678
Desc:
-a map and extended game play trying to improve Tailio mobility
-a base Tailio species were converted to Mass reproduction
-spawned in the middle Paddock of my land map
-started with the middle paddock 100% plant density
-over time, reduced the plant density to what it is now
-this can be seen in the Plant graph, especially the huge plant reduction by 72% around 12,000t
-started with the normal 100% flat and smooth terrain surface that comes in the middle paddock
-over time, added different types of shallow holes, low hills, and a large mound in the center that they have to traverse to mate and survive

Findings:
-both graphs stop displaying graph data at 1400, but continued moving on the T axis and displays current time if hovered over
-Tailio are great survivors, even on top of the map+plant changes when predators were spawned in, including a new species of predator Tailio multiple times
-without doing detailed timed comparisons, I would say that they did improve going over uneven terrain, however only slightly and they still don't normally even go all the way up on the mating platform, a new test could be done with a wider mating platform to force them to have to climb the hill more
-the continuations of this map that I did proved unfruitful, continuing to make the holes/hills larger and/or reducing plants further negatively affected the populations to the point that running long term unattended sessions were not viable due to high risk of extinction
