Reporting a bug Most of the drones summons don't do anything, they fly up and despawn Haven't tried all of them but the type 3 drone and some others do that.
You have to right click while they're flying up, as if they were limpet guns that explode later. It's the "authentication" the description talks about. I had to implement this because when spawned regularly, they have a tendency to clip underground.

I'm happy this mod exists. I was always hoping they would have given the Air Raider a beacon to call in reinforcements and was a little disappointed they never did. One of the things that drew me to 2017 was the number of friendly npcs the game had, it added a lot of atmosphere to the war.
My interest in this mod is the ability to call in EDF troops and not so much the monster side although I can appreciate the novelty of it. I was wondering if it would be possible to call in soldiers that could follow or multiple soldiers at a time? If that's not likely what about more spammable summons? Like a huge cooldown reduction? I'd like to make up for some of the missions that withhold backup from you.
Also I've only had a chance to use the riflemen so far so I don't know if the same for the other soldiers but I was wondering if it was intentional they all have the red captain's helmet instead of the normal gear?
It would be possible, if you want I can make an addon that summons more soldiers on a longer cooldown. What would it be, 3X soldiers for 3X cooldown? Or more?

I'm working on a different kind of summoner mod that's focused on soldiers and AI vehicles, however I'm having trouble making it work online. I may have to first release it without online support, and sort things later.
I was looking for something less balanced like 3x Soldiers with the current cooldown or even less cooldown. I'm really trying to go all out on the summoning. I want the EDF to deploy.

I also tried your new mod but it unlocks everything so I deleted it and just installed this one again (I am a new-player) what more this one is way more fun (since I can just spawn many Rangers and look at the battle from afar, the only problem I have with this mod is that the ranger doesn't advance they just stood still (which is good against ants but against the other monster not so good)
The new mod unlocks all missions, but only temporarily while the mod is still installed. Afterwards your save will be the same. However if you create a new save, it will unlock all weapons for that savegame, and those will stay afterwards. Maybe I could do the same with the other mod: 3X soldiers (or more), for longer cooldown.
Is it possible to create an addon that doesn't unlock everything? because I really like collecting things lol, I also hope the new mod allow for spawning Vehicles, would be nice seeing mixed army lol
You're right, I'll make both options available. See, for testing purposes we make new savegames every day, so it's kind of a necessity to us but it's understandable if others don't want to.
I'm rather curious, would it be possible to add weapons that could buff the summons? Maybe even something that could alter their size? (Big things are good, but sometimes...bigger (or smaller) is better.
Size is out of the question yet, but upping the health or damage of the summons with a device would be possible, with the new code that we're working on.
There's a EARTH DEFENSE FORCE section and I'm wondering if its possible for you to add vehicles, like a barga but with AI controlling it? Tanks and any vehicle in the game that has AI and attacks.
Yes, it used to be impossible to summon vehicles with AI. After a long research, however, we have found some partial ways. I'm making a new mod to test things out, and afterwards I will see to implement the new stuff here too.
I don't know if anyone else is having the same issue but while using the mod mission 136. The Giant God Comes Crashing crashes the entire game after just a few seconds of loading into it. I only have this mod installed and a patch to increase drops.
