I am a new modder, and I would like to ask what parameters your mod modifies to achieve the effect of multiplying by X. I would like to integrate it with multiple professions and multiple weapon slots.
After you convert CONFIG.SGO to JSON with SGOTT, scroll down and you will see 4 locations like this (one for each class):
"200" is the starting armor of the class, when you first create a new save. The other number is the factor by which every crate you collect is multiplied. In the game is an invisible counter that registers how many crates you have ever picked up: to determine the amount of armor for every class, that counter is multiplied by this factor.
I downloaded the 10x armor increase but it doesn't seem to be working. On the results screen, the ranger's armor gained 10, but only 6. If it had been applied it would have increased by 60.
Check if the armor value in the inventory screen has increased by 10X, after installing the mod. I.e. you had 1000 before, and now it's 10000. The mission results screen is correct, in the sense that you picked up a certain amount of crates, but what really matters is how much armor those have given to you.
I checked out the all in one package, and found it's only giving around, probably 5X armor. I was wondering what value needs changed to do that to customize it how I wanted in my game to the 10X?
Is it possible for this mod to be somehow used with the one that lets Air Raider use any equipment in any of their slots? I love using silly builds for Air Raider, but it would be nice if my friends and I were able to have our armour scale a little better as well
This seems to be in conflict with the Valkyrie mod. Is there a quick and easy integer modifier that I can change for the Valkyrie Mainscript and Defaultpackage to achieve the same effect?
Hello, long-time lurker here. I think I've gotten the mod installed properly, though I haven't actually tested it yet. I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your work, it makes the grind so much less insufferable.
Okay, tested it. Works gallantly, though I'll admit that the function seems weird to me. Creating a clone of the PC with default gear who teleports around to pick up the item boxes? Weird. Mind, it's not remotely a drawback that would make me stop using the mod.
Belatedly, does installing mods disable Steam achievements?
Okay, I was wrong. The clone just has plus like a billion percent to item collection radius, which seems like a fairly sensible way of handling that. Again, very good mod and I'm glad you made it.
No, achievements don't get disabled. I could probably make the Lootmaster "effect" look like a simple teleport, if I deleted the previous "body" of the player (you get moved, but there's no copy of you). In the early days, people just cared that it worked, but nowadays it has to look smooth too.
I don't really care what it looks like, honestly. I just thought it looked weird. Glad to hear that achievements don't get disabled, and thank you very much for your work. I hope that you have a pleasant day. :)
the only benefit for the people that host this mod is if you already over grind with the new armor limit you still able to use that stats as client player
I thought the armor limit will not be affected by this mod but in online play the armor limit is x10 (or x2 dependent on the file). I downloaded the mod with loomaster.
