Per chance does this work with EDF 5? I'm going to be replaying that soon and i wanna do some funny. but i really don't care to go through and 70% any EDF game lmfao.
So if i download this, install it and then uninstall it, i'll still have my normal save right? And it also wont automatically give me the 70% completion achievement?
No, the limits will remain unlocked even after you uninstall the mod. Else everyone would have to run the mod all the time. I can't remember if there's any achievements linked to the limits themselves, but you will not get to 70% progression, it is the unlock requirement that lowers to 0%.
Hey bud. Love the mod. I just got Mission Pack 2, and this mod doesn't work with it. It still seems to work for the main campaign, though. Soon as I change the Mission Pack Setting to Mission Pack 2, the level limit locks are back and cannot be selected. I know it just dropped today and you need some time, just wanted to let you know it's an issue. Thanks!
I just tested it and it worked: I created a new save, started a DLC2 mission online, then retreated.
Make sure that the mod is installed properly: open the zip archive, drag and drop everything to the folder with the EDF6 exe. Both the \Mods\ folder and the other 2 files. I'm talking about the Steam version, let me know if you're using Epic or another.
Hi mate, great idea for a mod and for most people it seems to be working, but it isn't for me. Any ideas on what might cause that? I've got it set up exactly as the screenshot says to and have completed a mission online, but I still have the limits.
Are you on the Steam version, legit? The installation process isn't particularly hard: at most, people forget to extract the modloader.ini and winmm.dll files, or their real issue is that they're playing on Steam Deck and haven't readied the game for mods. I use this regularly, to unlock limits on new saves for my mods. BTW completing the mission isn't even required: all you need to do is to enter and leave one (in a solo online lobby).

It could be an installation error, I just repeated the process and it worked. Try donwloading the mod again from this page (this is the EDF6 version, just in case you had the 4.1 or 5 version) and double check that after installing, the folder looks like this:
In particular, the mod's folder should be called "Mods" and not "No Online Limits mod-13-0-5-1722430108". Also there mustn't be a folder within a folder, as to say \Mods\Mods\. Notice that the unlocking process is a one-time event: once you unlock a savegame, the option stays unlocked forever.
Really a cool mod. Ist there any chance, that this mod and the lootmaster mod will be fused? Right now, they share the same file names, and I don't know, if you can have them both running at the same time.
This mod is just an unlocker: once you got the option unlocked, it will stay regardless. So you can use it for the 5 mins necessary to get the limits unlocked, and then delete it, moving to any other mod you prefer.
Just as an fyi to anyone reading comments, you actually dont even need to play or beat a mission. All you need to do is go into a mission and then retreat. You will be able to turn off limits even retreating!

And the limits should unlock.
