Honestly I had a headache trying to read this mods description, but can anyone confirm if this fixes the stupid CPU AI doing tiki taka playing out the back as if they're Barcelona. EVERY team does it, even bloody League Two teams WTF.
They're to use if you're finding the referee is calling too many fouls. If so, use the alternative referee version. If you want the same foul calls as default fc25 then use the default ref option.
Hey man, here i am again.... I keep trying different versions of your mod and it almost never feels good. It never looks like the youtube videos you show (ik you show the paid version on yt but it still shouldn't feel this bad). The players feel like slugs, the passing is HORRIBLE, i have 3 dudes alone next to me and somehow the pass goes to someone that's being marked or just goes straight to the cpu. Then they have a 1/2 second delay when i tell them to do something. Then i keep getting scored cause my players feel like 50 rated indians, i go to the cpu to shoulder bash them and nothing happens or i i press O to clear the ball and my player just runs, doesn't even attempt to do what i told him to. Oh and the players are never in their positions And there's many other stuff that's very frustrating. Can you please help? in the vanilla gameplay i never had these problems, or if i had it wasn't every game, currently the vanilla gameplay feels better than your mod but it's easy af to win games and it takes the fun out of the game imo. I want to enjoy this mod but this basically turns my team into a 50 rated indian team and the cpu turns into prime barcelona.
Hey man. I obviously don't agree with your assessment, but that's totally fine. The difficulty comes from the fact that the Full Gameplay Package exists because EVERYONE has a different interpretation of what feels good and what feels 'realistic'. I often receive completely contradictory feedback. One person says something is 'too fast' the same day someone says something is 'too slow', etc, etc etc. The REASON the full mod exists is that I offer a MASSIVE amount of variety that people can CUSTOMISE to their own liking. For example you've just called the mod sluggish - yet today I've received a message saying they'd like my Natural X version to be even slower.
The passing for example. You call it horrible for whichever reason you have - fine, no issues. I'd imagine you're referring to pace, errors and/or mechanics. In the full package I have options that you can change ALL of these to suit YOUR STYLE. This is not me trying to sell you something, I'm simply highlighting that your own experience is just your own opinion - it doesn't make it a universal fact. It's literally impossible for me to create a mod that suits every single person's interpretation of 'realistic'. I know this well because I speak with loads of people every day with very different definitions of it.
Based on what you're saying you might be best suited to the 'Extra Fast and Fluid' version with the 'Default Ground and Through Ball Distance' option. I even offer a default movement option and a default pass speed option for those who want to preserve the original movement and pass speeds based on what they like. Again, I'm not trying to sell you anything at all - it's totally your call to decide to purchase something or not, I'm just again highlighting the fact that I know people see the game differently and this is what I have on offer for those who want to customise more to their liking.
I'm sure you'll just reply and say X is 'horrible', 'make this better' bla bla bla - but all that does is prove my point. All I'm asking is that you for one second consider that your own interpretation is just that - yours. Not everyone agrees with this evaluation at all. The full package provides you with the ability to change every single element based on what you want. If you don't want to and you don't like the free version also, no problem. Also if you do decide to purchase the full package and you can't find a thing in the 370+ options, 10+ presets and 10+ standalone versions (with almost infinite amount of combinations you can make) - then also no issues, maybe the mod just isn't for you and no hard feelings. If your interpretation of realism is the vanilla gameplay - then great for you, you don't need to worry about the mods either.
Appreciate the answer, and the explaining. But currently i can't be spending money in fifa mods, no matter the price. And i'm gonna be honest bro, when TU9 dropped i found some dude on youtube sharing your paid mod for free and i tried it, i know it's not something i should do but at the time i was thinking about buying your mod but was afraid it would be like the free version, and it was... i tried many different options, read all the pdf's you put in there, read every READ ME file before using one option and i still couldn't make the game feel good. Idk if it's my game, my pc, or your mod but clearly, something wasn't working correctly. But if i ever buy your mod i will ask for your help, if that isn't a problem to you.
And btw i'm not calling you a liar but this is not happening just to me.. there's 2 other dudes that replied to my old comment that are saying the same thing is happening to them, i also found some guy on reddit saying they had problems with passing and i'm not sure but i think i also saw some of them on youtube complaining about the same. But that is not what i want to talk about.
I was just wondering if there's anything i can do to make the free version better. Because it really is very bad, i can even send you some clips of the problems i'm having if you want (don't know if we could notice the problems in the clips tho), just so you don't think i'm over here just making stuff up to make you look bad.. I can't even enjoy playing 1 single match, cause the cpu always plays fine but my players don't. It's a little frustrating cause it feels like i'm playing with a 3 division team.. Do you know any sliders or something that can make it a little better? at least for the passing, cause even if i move the pass error slider down it doesn't change anything.
EDIT: And like i said, i tried other free versions since FC24 and to me, the early ones always feel better. Like the V3 you had before this one, it had some problems but for example the passing wasn't so bad as this version, and the players didn't feel like slugs...
I'm not saying any of you aren't experiencing some difficulty with passing and I'm not telling you that it isn't happening, I'm trying to actually help by explaining that most likely what you're experiencing is coming from those particular changes to the mechanics. It really is simply a learning curve to adjust to the mechanic. It's lighter pushes of the button to avoid the passing going further.
Just because some people have difficulty with it, it doesn't mean therefore it is broken. Some just need to adapt, and those who can't have the option to change it if they want in my full package. I really don't see the complexity in that? I have to make decisions with the mod for reasons I see as beneficial. You don't have to agree with them. Of course there's going to be some that don't like it, but there's also loads of people who love it. I'm not sure what you're expecting me to do that I'm not doing?! The free version is the free version, it's not designed to be LESS, but it just doesn't provide the flexibility and options as you will find in the Full Gameplay Package. There's nothing dark and sinister here.
When you say things like 'CPU can hit perfect passes and I can't hit anything' - that isn't anything to do with my mod as such. There's no different passing errors for CPU v User in my mod at all. Further to this, when you say the older versions felt better - the passing mechanics haven't changed at all since the earlier versions. V3 to V6 - passing mechanics are identical. I know this and you don't, so when I hear feedback like that I know that it's placebo. You can disagree and that's totally fine, but I made the mod so I know what I changed and what I didn't.
In terms of the movement - again you're saying they feel too slow, but I have MANY people who use even slower standalone versions than the regular. If you were on my discord I would simply suggest moving to 'Fast', 'Fast and Fluid', 'Extra Fast and Fluid' or even the default FC25 movement option. This again isn't me selling you anything, I completely understand if you're not in a position to be paying for mods, I'm just highlighting that what you're giving me is feedback that you want something to be a particular way, and I'm explaining that I have already made the thing you're searching for. In terms of sliders for the free version, if you see the movement as too slow then all I can suggest is to increase the speed and acceleration.
I'm not suggesting you haven't set something up correctly either (although this IS a very common problem I run into with people. Some people send me horrible messages, and they simply haven't set things up properly. That's not an excuse, it's a fact).
To be very clear, I'm not able to guarantee that you will find an exact perfect fit for exactly what you're searching for with my gameplay either, all I can say is that my mod ACKNOWLEDGES that people see the gameplay differently and I've made every effort to provide people with the ability to customise their gameplay in a huge way. If you can't find anything, or if you haven't it up correctly etc, that would have be discussed in more detail if and when you decided to go ahead. If it's not for you though and you don't like it, there's absolutely no obligation to play with my mod.
(EDIT: i reread and rewrote this multiple times to the point of me getting tired so if i said that you said something that you didn't, i'm sorry)
Honestly man i feel like talking with you here is pointless, you say "every experience is different" and there's dudes that say 1+1=2 others say 1+1=3 and all that but then i come here with MY problems and you basically just say "well you told me your experience but i disagree because that's not what i see"... I don't know if you even notice, prob not cause you are too busy advertising your paid version every 2 seconds, but you are literally contradicting yourself. You first say "that's your problem not my mod, that doesn't happen" , then say "a few guys that paid for my mod also complained about being slow and ask for a faster version, while others did the opposite"... So what is it? am i being the only one thinking this is slow or not?
And have you ever thought that MAYBE you don't agree with what i'm saying because PROBABLY this is how YOU like to play the mod? But just because you and other people like it, doesn't mean everyone will. You said it yourself. But if you have so many versions in your paid mod then upload your "normal" version one, or give us this one and another one faster for those who like it faster. You won't lose any money by doing that. You probably would get more people that like the players to not feel like slugs will probably try the fast version and like the mod and buy your paid version to make it even better. But that's just my opinion you do you.
And finally, I'm not trying to be rude or anything like that but Jesus Christ bro... You keep talking about your paid mod and that "i'm not telling you to buy it" and giving me "if you use this option with this one it will suit you better"... I already said i don't have the money, and i don't want to buy your mod FOR NOW. Move past that, stop talking about what other dudes can do with the paid version and all that. I get it, with the paid version it's better and easier to make the gameplay to my liking BUT I DO NOT WANT TO BUY IT, it's that simple. I simply asked you if there was anything you could tell me so that i could make the free version a little better, just say yes or no. I don't think anyone that asks you something here ABOUT THIS FREE MOD wants you to talk about what someone else does with the paid version. Be direct and short, just say "Hey man there's nothing i can do to help you make the free version better but if you want you can buy the paid version and i would be able to help you". There really is no need for these huge comments sharing your paid mod user experiences.
But i get it, you can't help me make this free version better, no problems. I'll keep trying different versions you upload. And if i ever buy your mod i'll ask for your help then, if i need it. And once again, I'm not trying to be disrespectful and i'm not "shitt1ng" on the job you made so far. This is just me sharing MY experience. And If you don't agree with anything i say then like you said, that's fine. It doesn't make it untrue, we all have different opinions.
But Thanks for taking the time to reply and for explaining how your paid version works. Take care..
Haha you're very right about one thing, it's pointless having this conversation as you. You don't seem to be trying to grasp any of the points I'm making. I'm not stupid enough to be trying to sell you something haha, I'm EXPLAINING how the mod works. However, you're still simply saying 'make this more how I like it'. I'm saying everyone has their own interpretation of what is 'realistic' and you ultimately want me to adapt it to suit you - hence my explanation for the full mod where this is ALREADY DONE.
Again, you might think something is sluggish and someone else might not. It's the REASON for the different versions. So those who find any of the versions either too fast or too slow have the OTHER VERSIONS to play!!! Why is this so difficult haha.
I'm not contradicting myself, you're just generalising and not looking at specifics. IF you're referring to a particular passing mechanic relating to distance vs power input, then this can explain why you're finding passing more difficult at times. YES, some others have referenced this, which is why in my FAQs I explain what it is and suggest that it requires you to adapt OR use the option to change this. When you speak about the CPU being able to pass, but you can't - that is where I explain that there's nothing in the mod that specifically makes the CPU pass with less error than the user. That is a fact. Also, when you say that passing in V3 is better than V6, how can I not correct you and tell you that they're the same. It's not my fault that it's the same. I really am trying to explain things, but it just feels like you're not willing to listen.
Regarding the free version, all I can say is use the sliders to adapt it to your liking? You also don't have to use the mod at all. If you don't like the taste of a pizza, don't keep eating the same pizza...it's really not that complicated.
I appreciate that we haven't had to resort to insulting each other and name calling like others do - so respect and all the best.
I literally "don't seem to grasp" the points you are making, because you keep talking about stuff that i do not care lmao. I'm here on the FREE mod page, talking about the FREE mod version, and you keep talking about what i or others can do with the multiple options you have on the paid version or literally just explaining how your paid version works, and in case you missed it i said i do know the paid version is obviously better and it will make it easier for me to shape the gameplay to the way i like, but that wasn't what i was talking about was it? That literally makes no sense xD. I'm talking about the FREE version and you are talking about the paid one... That's the same as me coming here talking about why the sky is blue and you start talking about why cars need wheels to drive.
Oh and i changed the sliders, but it didn't make any difference, JUST LIKE I SAID 2 TIMES BEFORE. That's why i tried to come here asking if there was anything else i could do, maybe change some settings or have specific sliders like we have to with the line length ones... it really isn't that hard to understand mate.
But anyways, i already got what i was looking for. Again, thanks and all the best to you too.
If I re-read the problems you've presented, they have zero detail. They are large, sweeping statements about things being 'bad' 'horrible', 'move like slugs' '50 rated' and a bunch of other SUBJECTIVE comments. Some of what you've described, my mod hasn't even touched like clearances, delays in defensive mechanics like shoulder barges, players not listening to commands etc. If you're giving me a bunch of preferences, the logical place to go is to to tell you how to change those preferences. Despite what you think of me or my answers I was actually trying to help you.
When you make a comment like sliders have no impact at all, that's just ridiculous. You think I somehow disabled sliders to have no impact? It's just nonsensical. Of course not every element is adjustable via sliders, I understand that, but of course you can increase/decrease many elements just the usual way sliders work.
I've said this before, but the only thing you can do to customise the free version is sliders, just the same as every other gameplay mod or the default game. Let's not waste each others time anymore. All the best.
Jesus Christ... Your reading comprehension is something else... I never said you disabled or that i think you disabled the sliders to have no impact. I'm not accusing you of doing anything wrong, i'm just saying that the mod clearly is not working correctly for me. Stop being so defensive man, ffs. I'm asking for help and sharing my problems and you are acting as if i'm accusing you of doing this on purpose just to make the mod bad.
Large sweeping statements with 0 detail? i literally said "the passing is HORRIBLE, i have 3 dudes alone next to me and somehow the pass goes to someone that's being marked or just goes straight to the cpu." How is that 0 detail? Tell me then how am i supposed to explain the passing is bad by not saying the passing is bad? And your way of explaining your mod was by saying "doesn't make the game feel sluggish" but if i say it the players feel like slugs that's not explaining? lmao. I guess none of us knows how to explain something then.
Once again you are contradicting yourself, you first say i didn't explain anything (i did), and in the next line you talk about something i literally explained😂 It feels like you are just reading whatever you want, not everything i said.
And i know you were trying to help in the middle of all that, that's why i thanked you 2 times and said "i already got the answer i was looking for" and "i get it, there's nothing else you can do to help me" in the previous comments....
And for the passing error sliders, which was the only one i messed with, not any other slider. It really doesn't make a difference, i played some matches with it on 20 and it was the same as leaving them on 50, and again, i have clips to prove it, if i'm gonna be here wasting my time it definitely won't be by making stuff up.
But whatever you say mate, my head hurts already. To you too.
Haha wow. You are being so unnecessarily difficult, it's really not worth continuing the conversation. You alluded to sliders having no impact, so what other conclusion can one reach haha. After all of this the net result from everything you asked = use sliders, learn the mechanic or don't play the gameplay mod. Was I even needed in this conversation?
You take everything I say as me trying to sell you the mod, when I'm literally just doing the best I can to answer your question in detail. I acknowledged what you MAY have been referring to by 'horrible' passing. If I had just replied and said 'learn how to pass better', that would have been rude, so I tried to explain what I thought may be causing it and attempted to give you a solution. You haven't seemed open to once trying to actually learn the mechanic (as this will actually help you far more than any sliders will in this area). I tried to say lighter pushes of the button will help you learn this. IF you're referring to the direction of passing (forgive me for not understanding what you meant exactly in your ever so articulate explanation you provided), then I'm sorry to say but that is complete placebo as I haven't touched passing errors in V3 or V6 standalone versions. You can say I'm denying your experience or whatever, but there's literally no changes to passing error as such. You suggested it was better in V3 to V6 but the passing is the same, so can you at least see how I'm having a little bit of difficulty over here haha.
Again - all the best to you, I think my mod is not for you. No harm done, no more energy needed.
Yes, the v3 for some reason worked better for me, that's why i'm currently playing with TU12, just to use that version. I'll say this for the 3rd time, i'm not making stuff up, i have clips where you can literally see the difference between v3 to v6, or the vanilla game and your mod. If you choose to not believe that then that's on you. And tbh, i bet if i was giving you those monthly 8$ our discussion would be a lot different, but that's a talk for another day. But once again, whatever you say mate, i came here asking for help because i want to be able to use your mod but can't with the way it is working FOR ME right now. Clearly there's no point in keeping this up. I think you can't or don't want to understand what i'm trying to explain and you think i just woke up one day and decided to make stuff up about anthjames mod xD. No problems, thanks again for the help and the continuously awesome explanations on how your paid version work. All the best, again.
The 'Full Gameplay Package' paid version of my mod does have a lot of files, yes. For that, you just need to read the pdfs and it's all explained clearly and easily. The 'Basics' pdf for example walks you through how the structure of the mod works.
Haha wow. You are being so unnecessarily difficult, it's really not worth continuing the conversation. You alluded to sliders having no impact, so what other conclusion can one reach haha. why does it feel like my players turned into gorlock the destroyer after the update? can you reupload the last version? i don't like playing like this, the players can't move, can't turn, can't do anything. they are heavy af. And yes, i installed it correctly and i'm using everything like you said in your notes.
and idk if it's just my game but the test option isn't working, but the main mod is.
Same dude! Even my 5SM and agile wingers are slow af. Feels like i'm playing one of those Ultimate Team matches were you are destined to lose and your whole team feels like s#*! LOL
Haha guys, please read the part about speed increases/decreases. You'd just be experiencing one of these - and it will settle as it always does, it's been part of EA's games for a long time. It's playing exactly the same for me and no-one else has reported this at all with this update either, but it is a consideration in general.
Youre everywhere pretending this mod is perfect. 10 people say the passing sucks HERE, but you told a guy here that "ive never heard complaints about the passing". The ENTIRE mod page is yo shilling your patreon and the PAID version. MAYBE, make a decent free mod, then we will buy your paid mod. Everyone here seems to agree this feels like trash. Then you blame THEIR settings. Always their fault, because your mod is perfect.
On your youtube, ive seen people pretending you updated how good the game looks, and NO NEGATIVE comments. Almost like you delete them.
It's really not even worth replying to you because you've clearly made up your mind, but I'll give it a shot anyway.
EVERYONE interprets realistic differently and I'm well aware of this. The reason my full package exists is so you can create something that suits your interpretation of realism. I'm not trying to sell you anything. If you don't want it - fine. If you don't like it - fine, but it doesn't change the fact that there are many different perspectives about what is 'realistic'. I receive contradictory feedback often - something is 'too fast' on the same day as it's 'too slow', something is 'too easy' on the same day it's 'too hard', etc etc etc. The full package simply offers you variety to change things based on YOUR OWN PREFERENCE. Where is the harm in that? The free version is ONE element of what the gameplay can look like, so naturally some people are going to find that this regular version doesn't work for them. If someone highlights this, don't you think it makes logical sense that I explain that the full package offers them the ability to customise the very things they're highlighting? If they don't want to, or they try it and they still don't like it - no problem at all. I can only do my best - and there are plenty of people who very much enjoy what I do. If I offered the SLOW version as the free, then some will say it's sluggish etc. If I offer the FAST version for free some will say it's way too fast.
Passing FOR EXAMPLE - I offer multiple passing speed options, passing error options, passing mechanic options - as well as the ability to revert these and many isolated areas to default if that's what you prefer. I really don't understand why you're coming at me like I'm doing something horrible when I'm simply trying to provide people with the ability to customise the gameplay to their own liking. You can make it faster or slower, amongst 370+ other things if you want to. If you don't want to - then NO ISSUE. I'm not making anyone do anything.
Again with the passing, I have explained this in the FAQs but you probably didn't read it. I have made some specific changes to the passing mechanics to help with the fluidity. IF you don't like this, NO PROBLEM!!!! You can revert this. However, I have experienced many people who didn't like it at first, but once adjusted LOVE IT and can't go back. So as you see, there are multiple interpretations of what people like. Your interpretation is yours - I'm not taking that away from you, I'm simply highlighting that again it's not a universal fact because you think something.
There are particular settings necessary to set up the mod correctly. There are also considerations to make with the mechanics of the game in mind, I can't change everything EXACTLY as I want, I am working within EA's existing mechanics. Also, things like speed increases/decreases - this is just something that happens. I have explained this in the pdfs, but some don't take the time to read the information provided, they just lash out and conclude after 20 seconds of playing.
I've never said the mod is perfect, I'm doing my best though and I'm trying to provide people with as much customisation as possible to suit their style. I really don't understand why you're hating on that. If you don't like the mod or you don't want to use it - NO ISSUES, I'm not forcing anybody to do anything at all. There's loads of people enjoying it though!
I'm not saying any of you aren't experiencing some difficulty with passing and I'm not telling you that it isn't happening, I'm trying to actually help but explaining that most likely what you're experiencing is coming from those particular changes to the mechanics. I liked the Mod, but I realized that every shot is a goal. Whether by the CPU or with my players. From outside the area, without any placed shot or 'super shot', the ball goes without any possibility of defense and at a speed above the 'real' one.

Take care..
To you too.
All the best, again.

and idk if it's just my game but the test option isn't working, but the main mod is.
On your youtube, ive seen people pretending you updated how good the game looks, and NO NEGATIVE comments. Almost like you delete them.
