I really like this mod especially at the tombs...Please when you have time update this mod for the dlc version too. Thank you very much for your hard work and wish you all the best. :D
whats the point? it only moves you a few feet now a teleport that by waypoint now thats something but only a few feet and can go through buildings is meh like i said whats the point get the sledg and you can go through buildings
It was handy in the early stages of the game, when "coming soon" parts of the map were inaccessible behind gates and walls. I don't believe we had the sledgehammer or power fist at the time. I used it to unlock relay towers before we were "permitted" to. Not really needed anymore, plus the game has updated so many times since, this mod now breaks the game because it uses an old way of implementation.
I'm following install instructions. When I launch Patch.exe, it does not create a mods.pak file. I don't see any mods in my game either. Can someone help me resolve this? Thank you.
Unfortunately the patch.exe isn't written very well. It isn't obvious why it doesn't work. For future use:
Put the patch.exe file into your DYSMANTLE directory (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DYSMANTLE);
Create a directory called "mods" in the same place (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DYSMANTLE\mods) and place the downloaded .PAK files into it.
Then when you run patch.exe it will create a "mods.pak" file and modify the prog.xml file to add the "mods" package under its list of parameters.
ya. ill need a little more explanation on this. how do you untar it? 7-zip will extract it, but i am still left with a .tar file that can not be run on windows. i have even tried renaming it to .exe and it still will not run. Both the creater and you are leaving out some major part here. and that is HOW to turn it into a .exe in the first place. honestly. only a Linux fanatic would upload a damn tar.gz file for this when most people use windows. at the very least they could have offered a .zip version.
Thank you. I was unable to get through 3 of the tombs due to the timers and my disabilities, thanks to this, I was able to get them all. Would never have gotten into the pyramid without it.
