Hello, I was simply wondering if this has been patched for 2023's most recent update? The dying light developers love cancelling out mods by updating the game with firmware that makes mods break; they intentionally do this, known as hard patching.
Hi, thanks for your interest. While I'm not planning to release a version with the changes you mentioned, I encourage you to do it, instead. I'll give you a few hints, so you can start.
For this specific case, it is really trivial. If you download my mod and unzip it, you'll find a file named data2.pak. Even if it has the ".pak" extension, it is nothing else than just another zip file. Uncompress that as well, and you'll get a single file:
scripts/skills/buffs.xml
This is the single file I had modified, from the original one that you can find in the DL installation folder, named data0.pak. Open it with any text editor, search for "RageBooster" and you can see the lines I added for my new boosts and the ones that instead I commented out.
