Let me clarify that if you go past a certain point you hit this invisible box that will force you. All I did was remove the timer if I recall. Could you show me like you getting closer and closer? If you use the dev menu you can see the box where it is on the screen. They did this so people would still be teleported if they hit it. You have a unlimited time in said area yes but not if you hit those invisible box's.
If I can help out more let me know. In the past in dying light I have remove said boxes but at the cost of the game breaking since those boxes are used in different places for different things. I didn't mean go anywhere just infinite time in areas. Sorry about the confusion.
Hi, I do not use the developer menu, for example, I would like to get to the Peacekeepers' Castle, but I am teleported back after 5 seconds, I just thought that I could increase the timer from 5 seconds, say to half an hour, in order to have time to explore interesting places outside the map ( if possible). There is such a mod "Octane per Second - EXPLORATiON on Amphetamine", but it does not work. It turns out that the city is surrounded on all sides by these invisible boxes, since when you exit the map anywhere, you will still be teleported after 5 seconds. Could you add a video of how it works for you?
I don't really have time for the moment but if you watch video of dev tools for dying light you can see what I am talking about as well. If you really want to just explore I might be able to make something for you. If I recall its under objects or physics in the data0.pak file. I know you can edit the call for said boxes, spheres, pillars since they have specials names in the old game and are still present in this data0.pak too. That's why I was able to use guns originally in dying light safe zones and that still applies to dying light 2. Also if you want to explore you can go into spectator mode in the dev menu too. Meaning you can fly and clip through stuff. That should be more fun for you. If you have anymore questions let me know.

There is a mod menu still working no down grading and secondly I think you should have freedom to walk anywhere in the game. I also have the same belief as you. I might release a mod that's a stand alone for walking anywhere. No problem I added no sway on the gun and got rid of the force teleport for areas in this V0.0.4 update. Yes I know how to increase or add UV light damage. If you want I can add that? How does double sound?
If you open up my mod files you can see what changes I have made at the bottom of the file. When I do the update for this you can change the values to your liking. I might even leave a note for you.
You make a very fair point since that's the file for backups. Its a file that loads first that has all the default configs. I have had issues in the past depending on when the data3.pak is called in dyinglight where it would not show until you call for it in the game. I don't want people to have issues. But its safer and I will update it to say data2.pak in the instructions.
I think I know what you mean you want more time before you are teleported to leave the task? If that's all I can do that for sure. Now the disable part I can also do that but I think just increasing it would be better. I plan to make this mod pack for people that are struggling with the game. I have a old friend that's really old and struggles because of it. Anyway I will most likely add that soon.|
