Thanks for including my guide here!

As a bonus I'd recommend disabling post processing effects - as FSR1 was misplaced in the shader pipeline and comes after some of them, I'm not sure how Techland messee that up.

It also just makes the game look clearer in general

Got it working. It definitely seems to help textures, even without adjusting the sharpness

Awesome! Great THX 2 U! FSR was awful in quality mode, everything was blurry.
With this configuration everything is great and image much better. My 1070ti can breathe more calmly in 2K resolution with 50-70 frames on high settings besides FOG and Reflections

Thanks for posting this here, some credit to the original post on reddit would be nice as I have more optimizations for Dying Light 2 that people may find useful. Thanks for getting this out their

Was it posted on reddit? I did not know this, I found this improvement on the Russian segment of the Internet where there was no link to reddit. Whoever posted this really deserves it. I just decided to post this here to help the players.

Omg, I checked the source of this improvement, there is only a mention and this is your reddit post (but no link), thanks for the work! Added a link to your post in the description.

Thanks for the effort but this isn't the actual Ultra Quality FSR, since it isn't coded into game yet. This acts more like a placebo effect since I use myself edited video.scr to have higher quality res and shadows but that's about it.

Confirmed not coded. It's a pure placebo at least for PC and what you are using is a basic LINEAR upscaling. PC is not around AMD, PC is around Nvidia and not because it's better, just because once more I smell they forced it being exclusive to PC. DLSS & RT along with tons of scripts on Denoising like crazy.

SkyRaider996 please point us to the FSR lines when you are saying "yes, it is"

This improvement is not mine, I found it in the Russian segment of the Internet (it was offered to me by news on a smartphone), the original post belongs to TheHybred (added a link to reddit in the description), I just decided to share it here so that as many people as possible can see it. I'm sure it didn't work for everyone, but I liked it.

Well thats not fsr ultra but surprisingly its better than magpie 0.8 fsr even performance wise. But worse than magpie 0.6, although a bit faster
    thx

You basically only added 100% sharpness to upscaling and using 77% scaling. Upscaling(3) doesnt make a difference to 2, because those determine the 3D Scale value set by the game. You can set upscaling 0 as long as the Scale3D Value is a different, like 77. I know you took this from dsog. ^^
