There is really no purpose for it, the mod might come back as an "Overexposued Modern Graphics Mod" if I feel like it, because the mod had a really nice overexposured look to it, but tonemapping has been added in the 2nd anniversary update, making the mod obsolete.
I've updated the mod, though I think despite the mediocre handling of tonemapping in the Reloaded edition, the overall visual improvements make it better than this mod.

Thank you very much! Been looking for a pitch black shadows fix (even during daytime) for ages. My eyes can finally enjoy the beautiful look of the game.
