I've updated the mod for the latest version. I've made some changes to the various infected weightings in both version and increased the presence of biters and screamers a bit, while slightly toning down virals.
However, if you plan on participating to the event (which I heavily recommend, it's a lot of fun), the mod won't function. Events appear to override local modifications in order to work properly.
If you turn off events participation in your main menu and load your save, the mod should work as before.
While testing the standard version of the mod, I have encountered on a couple of occasions volatiles at night. This is normal behaviour, I have only altered their patrol version (the ones that initiate chases) but kept all special encounters intact.
Special encounters are the endgame / new game + boss version, the ones roaming around GRE hives (cleared quarantine zones) at night as well as the "jump scare" encounters like those crawling from a dark hole if you stand around and make too much noise.
This is exactly what i was needing, lol. When i was playing DL2 at 2022 the nights were fine. I reinstalled the game yesterday and cant stand this night bullshit. I cant even kill that Burning Goon because there are always 2 volatiles nearby.
Hi, Woody I really look forward to using this mod because special areas in night are unplayable. Does this mod works for reloaded ? Put the folder in the right spot and nothing happened ? Thanks for your work !
Hi, Does this mod work with the new Reloaded version please? I tried another mod the other day and it did nothing... I'd appreciate a pointer to a resource showing me how to do it properly if it should workl.
First, thank you for this mod. I did not like the changes they made with volatiles being everywhere. Your mod saved the game for me.
With the Chinese New Year event, the volatiles seem to have returned. The event seems to reverse the effects of your mod. I am restarting my game and disabling the event. Just leaving this note here for any user who needs it.

EDIT: disregard, trying to use vortex to install our mods was causing the problem. installing the mod manually fixed the issue.
