About this mod

Instead of certain enemy types being restricted to areas or maps, all enemies can now spawn in all areas. For example, a Demolisher in the slums at level 1 is now possible.

This mod unlocks the enemy types across the maps.
We're talking about seeing Chargers in Slums, that sort of thing.

No level, quest, progress, map requirements; Everything can be anywhere.

In addition, some enemies can now be on-top of buildings or roofs, cars, etc where they previously couldn't.

Only affects Daytime so far, but plans are in the works to spruce up the Night-variety too.

NOTE:
This mod is very early. So far i have noticed a lot more activity in general regarding NPC's/Allies, more human enemies, more solo Enemy-Humans being attacked.
I've encountered Chargers, Goons, Screamers, Bombers, Gastanks (Yellow and White) and Toads all in Slums area through the hour of playtesting so far.

There are more frequent Virals too, which makes things more interesting.

This mod may change a lot depending on my and your further playtesting. So far i have only tested the slums.





2.0Beta Update: Dec 7 2020

A new version has been released which adds Variants of Infected to also spawn, as well as the infected spawning in areas they normally don't.
This means that you will see different types of Demolishers, Virals, Zombies and Goons that normally are in other areas/maps or The Following.

See recent screenshots for an idea of the sorts of things you will now see.




What's the point?:
The aim of this mod is to increase the challenge and variety, unpredictability of the game and to remove the 'safe' feeling in areas. You now never know what's around the corner.



Future Plans:
Work out how to tweak spawn rates/rarity. Pretty sure i have this working now.
Looking for a way to put DLC, The Following and other map enemies into the main campaign maps. Tested and working. Uploaded (2.0b)
More testing in different areas.
Work out how to adjust or add spawns to night.
Expand the different enemies to Humans and Zombies, not just Infected.

other help you can provide.

Installation:

- Go to Steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light\DW and make a COPY of Data3.pak

Then:

- Open the existing Data3.pak containing your other mods (if any), and
drop the data folder from this mods download into your Data3.pak
(You can open .Pak's using 7zip or some similar winzip/winrar software)
