I always hated how Dying Light looks and feels like it could be so immersive, but that immersion is ruined by how fast weapons degrade and how useless they are when they're "broken", how unbalanced player health is with that of enemies (this disparity only being worsened by the different difficulties), how the player randomly has unexplained health regeneration, and how annoying and in the way the HUD elements are. Who the f*** has a minimap built into their vision? Is Crane a cyborg? Anyways, here is exactly what this mod changes:
-Player has 50% less health than before. -Player has no health regeneration. -Blunt weapons degrade 90% slower. -Blade weapons degrade 60% slower. -Broken weapons do 50% of their total damage instead of only 10%. -Timescale is now realistic. -HUD is now immersive. -There are overall less special zombies in the world.
This mod works with the Following, and is designed to be used in Normal difficulty. Only use this mod if you are looking for an immersive gameplay experience. Included in the zip files are installation instructions, it's pretty simple.
