INTRO
Bypass the content warning message, ''All characters and locations used in this game are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons and places is purely coincidental.'', and the intro videos you get when starting the game. The mod supports all 17 languages available in the game.
DOCUMENTATION NOTES
It serves the same purpose of Gametism's No Intro and my Content Warning Message Removed mod, except it's made in a better way.
Gametism's No Intro mod works by replacing the intro .bik videos with no duration blank ones. Since they have no duration, the game can't play them. The problem is, if you verify the game files and/or reinstall it, you have to redownload the mod because Steam will tag them as corrupted and then override the files with the normal ones. It is different with this mod, since it's a custom .pak, Steam won't touch it. Mine is also made by replacing the whole function with a blank space in the script ''intro_postprocess_sequence.scr'', which is responsible for playing the intro videos. Since there is now no function the game can call to play them, they will not be played, but rather skipped.
My Content Warning Message Removed mod works by individually replacing all the messages in the script ''gamecinematics.scr'' from all the 17 languages with a blank space, making the game show a blank space. Now, this one works by deleting the whole function in the script ''intromovies.scr'', which is responsible for playing the content warning message. Since there is now no function the game can call to play it, it will not be played, but rather skipped, no matter the language. This results in a even faster game launch because there are no more delays between scenes. Some more digging really paid, huh? Optimized and clean. Now I'll focus on removing that menu where you have to choose between launching DY 1 or 2. Such a pointless advertisement bs. If I wanted to play DY 2, I wouldn't have launched DY 1!
INSTALLATION
Simply drag and drop the file ''No Intro.pak'' from the zip to the ''CustomPaks'' folder.
