Constantly alerting Virals when using fire weapons like the Puke & Nuke and Molotovs? This simple mod aims to eliminate alerting Virals from all fire and poison related Head Explosions, while allowing all other means of head explosions. Choose between Full version or "Random" version.

Permissions and credits
Once your survivor level is high enough, right around the time the zombies begin "mutating" and getting blisters on them, a good portion of fire deaths cause the zombies' heads to explode.

I've also noticed that the zombies that have an "aura" of poison/toxic fumes around them are also ones to explode from fire (sometimes from no fire at all), causing nearby zombies to start vomiting and upon death their heads also explode- all the while ALERTING Virals!

This caused me to not use any blueprints that contained fire. So on my second playthrough I was determined to find the cause and eliminate it. With quite a lot of testing  I have found the culprit. So if you're like me and want to take advantage of these blueprints but still maintain a low profile this may help you too.

This will still allow for all the normal means of attracting Virals (eg Gun Shots, Falling through Plywood, Explosions) and heads still explode, just not alerting Virals. Also Heads explode through every other normal means.

The Full version aims to eliminate all fire/poison head explosions, while the "Random" version still allows for some head explosions on occasion.

Install:


Earlier game versions ( before 1.4 )
Just unpack using 7-zip and place "data" folder in My Documents/Dying Light/

Game versions 1.4 and higher (including " The Following"):
Needs to be added to the data3.pak by using WinRAR or 7-Zip
