I have always utilized a method to allow for keeping my weapons usable while in safe zones when I play. Shortly after the release of The Following DLC expansion, I found that the arrows fired from the bow which was added by that expansion would also collide with the NPCs...and I tested this out with great amusement on this guy in particular.

Interestingly, not too long after I had included this image in my Created Loot Mod image gallery, Techland patched the ability for arrows to stick to NPCs out of the game.

    May I ask how to use weapons in safezones? This secret I've wanted to know since 2018...

      It's pretty easy with cheat engine

      nah you can't get vac banned for using cheat engine in singleplayer
      It's pretty safe to use

      Idk I had a buddy of mine using CE to try to use weapons inside safezones with his friends and he got VAC banned, so weird
