Putting the file into Resources is clear, but where do I put the bmk file? I only play single player so there is no multiplayer folder in my saves. Does this fix work for single player?
Never mind. I restored a save prior to me picking the book up (just had to fight the boss and speak to all the dwarves again) and in that case, the resource file is enough and it gave me the proper lore entry.
I'm guessing the step with the bmk file is for when you've already picked up the book and have no way to revert it. So just make sure you install this fix before doing that.
Also, as a bonus, this fixes the conversation with Shalepick. I originally picked up the books before talking to him and I couldn't ask him about anything, just end the conversation, probably because the game checked active lore entries and determined I already had it so it blocked off that conversation where you can ask him for a journal. With the fix, I could talk to him without issues and my journal is now complete.
