This is a simple music replacement mod for Drox Operative 2.  While the default music is great (I love the dev and all his 90's vibes), I wanted to swap out the tracks for something a little more "dramatic" sounding.  And when it comes to epic space battles in video games, you would be hard-pressed to find a soundtrack quite as dramatic as Starpoint Gemini Warlords.

This is my very first attempt at something like this, but I'm fairly pleased by the results.  The main issue is that the sound levels for the SPGW tracks are at a so much lower volume than the Drox songs.  (Seriously, it's like the Drox dev cranked up his recording to max, and the SPGW dev recorded at a whisper.)

That being said, be sure to LOWER sound effects audio to minimum (just shy of being off).  Background volume should be set to halfway, and music (and the master slider) should turned up to max.

Installation instructions:

1.  Unzip the main folder, and you will be left with two more zips:  assets002.zip and assets003.zip.  (Do not unzip these.)
2.  Navigate to here:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Drox Operative 2\Assets
3.  Delete the existing assets002.zip and assets003.zip.  (Do not try to simply overwrite them.)
4.  Move the new 002 and 003 into the Assets folder.  (Make sure you don't accidentally drag them onto 001 or 004!)
5.  Start the game, and change your audio sliders like above.  (Max music, half background, minimum sounds.)

Not counting a bit of minor tinkering here and there with other games, this is literally my very first mod, and my very first contribution to Nexus!  If it's remotely desirable, I'll likely start making additional mods for Drox Operative 2, and hopefully I'll get better over time!  My dream mod for this game would be a complete Star Trek replacement, with all sounds and ships.  (Because all sci-fi games are required by law to have Star Trek mods. I believe it's one of the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition.)

So keep an eye out for more!
