A version disables infinite stamina when you draw your weapon has uploaded.

    v1.1:
    - Gives you infinite stamina out of combat, even if you have drawn your weapon.

    v1.1-weaponfix:
    - Same as v1.1, but disabled infinite stamina if you have drawn your weapon.

      1. Open Fluffy Mod Manager
      2. Click "Options"
      3. Click "Open Mods Folder"
      4. Drag the mod file into that folder
      5. Click "Mod list"
      6. Click "Refresh Mod List"
      7. Enable mod (click the square next to mod's name, white is on, gray is off)

Heya, just wanting to say that it seems the mod may need updating since the new patch that just came a little bit ago broke the mod on my end.
Already tried disabling and re-enabling as well as uninstalling and re-installing and still getting the error.

Update: REF has an update and fixed the mod problems after updating it. All good. Disregard initial problem. xD

Just a heads up: looks like tonight's patch broke the mod. Is the author still active here? Not a big patch or anything, so I'm wondering if it's hopefully a simple fix!

This mod just plain doesn't work. Even with only this mod and REFramework, neither version of the mod does what it says it does.

EDIT: it suddenly started working after an inn rest.

Love this mod. Only issue I have with it is that the moment you put your weapon away, you get instant full stamina. I wish it didn't do that. I wish it just regened the stamina at the same normal pace instead of going from nothing to full just by putting your weapon away if you're out of combat. Otherwise, great mod.

Same. Another issue is that the thief's Formless Feint skill doesn't consume stamina when out of combat. I manually turn it off most of the time after a battle, but there are times I forget and I'll get ambushed then I'll auto-evade. Hope the this can be updated so that the formless feint drains stamina even out of combat. Not a big issue though.

Yeah, the newer version claiming to fix this issue didn't work. Have the same issue.

Fortunately, there are two mods of this kind on here, and the other works just fine:

It's because of dumb decisions like this that this game hasn't gotten a steady 90+ on metacritic. There is zero excuse for your stamina to be drained outside of combat in an open world game made in 2024 period. ZERO.

So Zelda Botw and Totk is bad games, since they have stamina drained outside combat according to your logic?

that's different, stamina gameplay is its own separate mechanic in botw/totk, maybe if dd2 had a similar rock climbing mechanic it would be justified

Imagine having mounts in Zelda BOTW and TOTK

You have mounts in that game, a glider, motorized vehicles, and stamina that lasts way longer than it does in this game.

I completely disagree. It's not a dumb decision. It makes sense that sprinting costs stamina whether or not you're in or out of combat. It also lets players RP and be immersed. Surely, you don't just sprint everywhere you go indefinitely IRL, do you? It's still cool that there's a mod that lets players not worry about stamina out of combat if they want to, but this game design is not dumb, not even anywhere close.

Do you even run indefinitely IRL ?

Are you also only able to switch your maximum of 4 equipped skills in a tavern and campfire IRL?
It makes sense that armor doesn't break, the whole world freezes to let you drink a potion, and stamina isn't drained in town BUT GOOD HEAVENS let's not allow a few more minutes of sprinting outside of combat outside town (maybe conveniently you forget the myriad goblin and wolf encounters)
IMO using an IRL comparison for a game to prove a point is what's dumb.

This mod is not workind at all for me. Tried both versions with fluffy and manually installing it. It didn't worked.

Yeah same for me. Tried both versions with fluffy and it doesn't work.

The only other mods I had was the better UI for map and item tweaks for weight and x10sell. It wasn't working at that point.

I did add the Dragon Slayer weapon mod after, but it was already not working

Ok so you have to go to Downloads in Fluffy, then install the RE Framework from Fluffy and enable it and now it is working. I think we misunderstood that it is either or, I think you still ne RE Framework but you can do it from within Fluffy.

Some time your mod doesn't work anymore...
Have to return in title screen then reload the game, and do this every time when doesn't work again...
(i use the "v1.1: - Gives you infinite stamina out of combat, even if you have drawn your weapon.")

Gives me infinite stamina when in combat.
Abilities cost stamina but I can swing my weapon at no cost.

There is only the problem that it becomes infinite when you are grappling with a large enemy, sometimes randomly.
