If you want to get your old presets back after updating: 1. Install new update on Fluffy 2. Go to reframework/data/ExtendedCharacterEditor 3. Your old edits are in the folders named ArisenMasculine and so on. Find the .json files of the presets you've used inside them 4. Rename the .json to something nice, then drop them into the Presets folder that came with the new update Note: if you're updating from a really old version, this might not work. You'll have to start from scratch.
The new jiggles might cause some clipping if you use Invisible Parts Fixer, I added optional furmasks to help that. Note that if you have pants modded to be more revealing the furmask will likely make your character's butt go blank.
Known bugs: - if you push the reset scripts button in reframework while any of your character's boob jiggle amount is 8 or over, the game will go crazy. Reloading will fix this. - Chest position in Hired Pawn Editor will have less or no effect at higher breast jiggle values. You can somewhat circumvent that by inputting higher values
i dont know how to explain but when i drag the mod to fluffymod manager and it shows there, the slide button to install is greyed out with a cross, so i cant install it. am i doing something wrong ?
Ok I just found that the cross means something like "there is more" so click on the name of the mod and it will show "Extended Character Editor" sub menus !
Been using the mod and its been working great for the past couple days. One problem has started occurring, however. Whenever I quit out of the game completely (close program) and re-launch it. For some reason my preset applied by this mod defaults to an older preset I am no longer using.
Example
1) I set preset to Preset 2. Its applied properly and looks great in-game.
2) I quit out the game, closing program.
3) I come back to the game. Preset 1 is applied. This also happens to my Pawn as well. Pawn gets an older preset and my Arisen gets an older one.
Save and quitting to main menu does not cause this. So changing preset, quitting to main menu, then loading save will keep the correct preset.
In the mean time, I will try storing old presets in a different folder, in hopes it will be forced to default to my latest. But an explanation or solution would be great.
I believe I have figured out how it works. For those that are interested: In the Dragons Dogma 2\reframework\data\ExtendedCharacterEditor folder, the Presetlist.json file also controls the default preset to be applied. Under "Arisen" you should see "F": and "M":
These are the defaults. For example, if "F": is equal to 2 (pretty sure thats how it is when you first install the mod), it would default your Arisen preset, if they were a female Arisen, to "Default Preset 2". If your newest preset happened to be #8 on the drop down list, you would have to edit this setting to "8" instead of "2". I'm pretty sure this is supposed to update automatically. And I think it was for awhile. But I must have messed something up and it didn't update to my newest preset. Manually correcting it to "8" in my case, made it so loading my save file started with my latest preset which happened to be the 8th on the drop down list.
I had the same issue and I just deleted every preset from 1 to 4, except the one I did lmao... lets just hope I didn't broke anything (I'm not used to mess around with archives and folders) And thanks for the tip!!
How do I move edits over to a new preset? For example, Preset 1 is loaded and I make edits. But I want to keep Preset 1's original values. So I create Preset 2. How do I get the edits over to Preset 2, without restarting from scratch?
You would assume that the "create preset" button would copy the current values onto the new preset. But instead its making a default preset. So its impossible to move my changes into new presets to preserve older ones, without manually copying each edit over.
The mod doesn't fully install with fluffy mod manager. With fluffy, it installs ExtendedCharacterEditor with the files Preset folder, Joinlist.json, and Presetlist.json. None of which are actually in the zip folder for the mod. I had to manually install the mod (Extended Character Editor, JiggleEnabler, JiggleFurMasks) to get it to work.
Thanks maljakko for this amazing mod! I just finished the game, and yours was one of my favorite mods for the entire playthrough. One of my big pet peeves when gaming is having my characters look the way I want, especially since I'll be staring at them for hours! Your mod definitely allowed that, and made DD2 so much more visually enjoyable! Thank you, and wishing you much success in your modding and gaming future!
How do you install this? I've been trying for like an hour or two but I just can't figure it out... All I know is that you need Reframework, but there's no instructions on how to install, so I've just been experimenting with reframework and the files in this mod.
I put the files inside of one of the reframework autorun folders, but that didn't do anything. Then from the game, I tried running the script file, but that just gave me errors. Though after that, the drop down menus did show up in the script menu, but they don't do anything. Nothing shows up in the dropdown sections.
There's nothing else I can think of, so I'm hoping I can get a little bit of guidance here. I'd really appreciate it!
Hey bro, install Fluffy Mod Manager, set the game to DD2 in the Fluffy menu, then drag and drop this mod's zip file onto the Fluffy tab. It's as simple as that. If you're looking into modding DD2 Fluffy will be your best friend. You should be able to find it here on Nexus. Let me know if you need any more help.
Is it possible to add a slider to increase/decrease the amount of muscle mass on the body normal maps? i feel every muscle map is little to almost not visible, and it would be awesome if we could increase the definition of the normal maps.
only for a few selected muscle maps unfortunately. The author has only polished/increased the intensity of the maps itself, not changed the values in the "Char editor", which is what i hope this editor may achieve as it could possibly give you the option to overwrite the base value of the "muscle visibility" slider, and not limit it to the normal 100%...
Though it would probably look funky, setting the slider to 200%++ would be interesting.
