Added a new version of the mod. This new one is the over the shoulder view but it also has the vanilla camera transitions when going from an interior to exterior or whatever. However, I have smoothed out the transitions and look much much better.
Fixed the weird spin when looking all the way up when outdoors.
This didn't work for me at first, but once I walked through a door it started working. I think you have to change your location somehow for it to kick in, like walking through a door or fast travel. Great mod, the camera is much better now
If you are having crashing issues, try removing the mod. Copy the fov mod unzipped folder into the dd2/mods folder, then running fluffy then activate the mod, there should only be one fov mod active. Then run the game, and let the game load without furiously clicking through the start up. You need to go inside to kick in the mod, otherwise the camera will be centered.
Doesn't seem to work properly on ultrawide. Outdoor areas the camera is still far back and character is central to the camera, but indoors it transitions to OTS and works as it should. Tried both files, same outdoor problem.
I have REFramework but no camera/FOV tweaks enabled as some comments have suggested
EDIT: Tried the main version again with ultrawide tweaks enabled on ReFramework (not the FOV adjuster though) and it works after unsheathing and sheathing my sword.
I seem to not be understanding I suppose. I have used this recently with no Issue. but as of now (Idk what I changed) my in game menu wont be matching up with where my cursor is. My screen resolution is 1080 x 1650.
Downloaded transition vr.. my camera is really far back, even on closest settings in game options. FOV works, but its not over the shoulder like in the pics. latest FMM playing on 4k
That's because this version uses the default camera settings, but just keeps it "Over the shoulder", meaning the offset is now more to the right of the screen and putting the character to the left. That's all.
I would also prefer a version without the FOV change, as editing the FOV back to default value (~36) with REFramework interferes with the zoom in the pause menu as well as zooming in and out while in character creation screen
Using this mod on a different monitor now and I'm also in the same boat, the FOV is hard-coded too wide. Would be nice if it was configurable. The REF slider is too crude and affects everything including the zoom and the pause.

I understand that the developer has put the screws to his own mod.
