I so agree with all that have praised this mod's incommensurable betterment of the game experience. Nothing disheartens me more than picking up new old things that I already have 50 of in my inventory, and having the game demand my attention to check what it was. Unquantifiable thanks for this mod.
This is one of the best mods for this game. Those little dots are a bigger battle than all the bosses in this game. Would you be able to make the mod to only show the dots when new items that have never been in your inventory before are picked up? This way we still know there's items that were unique.
I simply made that dot transparent. There's no logic around this mod. I'm not saying it's impossible to fulfill your request, but it requires too much effort for little result. Keep in mind that you always have the last picked up item in the pause menu on the right, so you can check and quickly select it.
All microtransactions items can be obtained in-game or as paid DLC items can also just download mods and give yourself all the items without working for it ingame too. Capcom will add the feature to make allow players to "restart the game." alternatively again save mod manager mod for now
Only big problem with this game is the performance issues which capcom said they are working on, can be temporary fixed if you have a RTX 40 series card using puredark "DLSS3 Enabler"
If you don't have a high end PC I would wait for performance patches, Dragon dogma 2 is a great game, it has been a while since a game has caught my interest, the last two games I played was Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom liberty patch 2.1 patch and Zelda Tears of the kingdom last year.
Wait for patches/bugfixes/qol from capcom, wait for a discount/sale and wait for more mods to be released you will enjoy this game even more.
The only microtransaction I think is a bit scummy is the portcrystal, they're stones you place in the world and you can teleport to them using ferrystones, so buying 1 means you have 1 extra teleport point. But, you're limited to 10 portcrystals placed at once, and you can get 10 without buying the 1 from the shop, so it does stop offering you any benefit at some point. Still, up until you get your 11th portcrystal it's a big convenience boost
As for the other stuff, they're all completely pointless wastes of money for people who don't know how easily available they are in-game. The character edit item for example which people are making such a big deal about, you can buy as many as you want for a small amount of Rift Crystals in-game. And there's nothing available that lets you make a new character, the only way to do so atm is to turn off Steam's cloud save and then move/delete your save files, although there are mods here that will do it for you

Can't live without it now.
and not being able to make a new character unless you pay.
