I didnt know it would affect my pawn, only my character. now im doomed because i made one stupid mistake bercause carry weight is so bad. i started as a fighter and just wearing heavy armor made me average/heavy so i thought hey lookat tyhat a mod to make me stronger but now again doomed
people who mod their games should only play offline if mods affect the online portion. Sadly, not everyone has that kind of decency. This isn't the mod or mod authors' fault, but clueless dumbasses or selfish pricks who don't gaf about other people's experience. It's just something people got to accept just like hackers and cheaters. Sadly, this just gives Capcom more reason to crack down on modding.
I used this before it said use offline, i am guessing i got banned i can combine anything any more, the option isnt even there and i cant use potions or beetles. is there a way to get unbanned?
LMAO this is a SINGLE PLAYER GAME. They CANNOT BAN YOU, especially in a absurd way such as by stopping you from using potions or combining items.
The most Capcom could do is by not allowing you to use the online features like the pawn system.
Once again, YOU CANNOT BE BANNED FROM A SINGLE PLAYER GAME. Stop blaming mods with these ridiculous reasons. But either way, you should NOT BE PLAYING ONLINE with mods, especially if you care so much about getting "banned".
Yes, also if you can find a way to undo the changes to your pawn it will undo it as well, the system just checks for impossible stats for level/class combo during each rest, and flags or unflags the pawn.
I tried the 1.05kg version and saw no change when popping beetles. I popped about three beetles I found and still received the default 0.15kg value. I'm going to uninstall it for now.
Does using a beetle on yourself ALSO apply the buff to your pawn? Or do you have to specifically use it on your pawn for it to register on the pawn? If it's the first one, then I'll just never use a beetle on my pawn so that way it won't get banned. Will this work?
I checked by looking at the stats screen before and after using a beetle and I can confirm that the max encumbrance of both the arisen and the main pawn increases by 0.15kg when using one.
I've changed the mod title and description to hopefully let people to only know to use this offline. I was unaware they were banning users in a single player game for using mods. I guess it makes sense with the online Pawn features.
1.05 kg (7 beetles) might be safer for Pawns to not get flagged and banned as cheating.
An excellent idea - might help it to sneak 'under the radar' if you will. Or maybe even a setting for .30kg (2 beetles) might be a good idea. Something small, but still more than default.
Either way, thank you for this, Reubensandvich. :D
I was no longer able to use the non-modified beetles after consuming 81 of them, so 81×0.15KG = 12.15KG is probably the legit value it can increase up by.
Thanks for that information. I changed the 10.5kg to 12.15kg. Though for anyone else reading, I'd suggest not using the mod if you're worried about your pawn being banned from online play.
This will get you banned eventually. Better use cheat engine offline or the fling trainer also offline to change the main characters (only that one) max carry weigt without touching your pawn. I did that with the fling trainer and all is fine. I can carry 600 and my pawn is default. i also do not use those since i have no idea how it would affect the stats after i did that.
I'm not sure it's possible to make it only affect the player. I believe a better option would be to use mods that remove weight or a mod to increases the ring's encumbrance by a lot.

Capcom would never "ban" someone by preventing them from combining item. It's an absurd notion to even bring up.
I didn't realize they would persist after uninstalling the mod
*Maybe* if you kill your pawn so it isn't with you and then use it. Haven't tried that yet.
