The game doesn't make that distinction in the files. This is beyond my power.
There are 2 different face slider files, human and beastren. If you want human only, we can go places.

Hello, does this game affect the pawn itself, or is it just on my client side ?

I'm afraid to send my pawn with bigger eyes in other worlds and get banned :)

All changes seen are client side

Let me explain this better, at least, how I have interpreted the files. This mod interprets how slider information is read. If you adjust your character in any way, your character is seen with however slider information values were stored. For example, If you set your "Eye Size" slider to 100, your character will have that value at 100 for everyone. Because you have Larger Eyes installed, you see larger eyes on EVERY character, this includes other players' pawns. Other players may not have the Larger Eyes mod installed and may not see larger eye size. If you don't want people to see your extra-large eye size, tell people not to download this mod.

Indeed, that's pretty much what I understood but I just wanted to be extra sure :)

In conclusion : I see "my" 100 size in my world, and they see "their" 100 size in their world. Thanks for the explanation and for the great mod !

Thanks for the beastren only option!

Would it be possible to make them even bigger? Maybe a slider? =D

      Thank you for your comment!

I have experimented with them being bigger and they don't scale well beyond their current size. When I started this mod, the eyes were 50% larger, but parts surrounding they eye start jutting out of the face, the inside of the eye starts showing on the outside. I feel like this mod is currently in a comfortable place. I have considered only adjusting vertical height to try and make them bigger but any adjustments would be made after a video showcase is made for the mod!

      Makes sense, thanks!

I'm kind of astounded how limited the default sizes are in the base game, even for humans. I find it very difficult to make anyone who isn't quint-eyes, even with 0% squint. It's wild.

DD2 editor. The Modding Haven Discord server has everything you need. It might be hard to find but it can be found. If you don't know where slider information is stored, just download this mod for Face slider information, or Bodies of Culture (my other mod) to unpack and locate the file. I can do a tutorial, but it would take time. It is also not fun because you have to restart the game to observe changes. At least, as far as I know. That's what I have been doing.

Thanks for this, I thought it was just me that the eyes especially on Beatren were way too small, I started a new character cause my Beastren kept looking rat'like...smh I now know it was the eyes throwing it all off!

I’m glad you like the mod! Please endorse if you like my mod enough to keep it! And if you have any suggestions for face or body adjustments, feel free to address them here. It looks like that will be the bulk of what I post here.

The slider still goes to 100. At 100, the eyes are 23.3% larger than vanilla 100. Values from -100 to 0 have not changed. Thank you for telling me that you are experiencing no change. I will download the mod and ensure I uploaded everything properly.

Update: I have downloaded and installed the mod, it worked for me. If you are still experiencing issues, mayhap you installed the mod incorrectly.

So, way I understand it, the actual slider values are not being changed? Only the way it scales on our end?

If so, this mod should be compatible with Online features, same as the "shapely sliders" mod.

Yes, this mod edits Face slider information. Shapely sliders edits Body slider information. Be sure to check out my other mod, Bodies of Culture. All changes seen are client side only.

by making the maximum eye size 23.3% bigger, do you mean that the eye size is that much bigger by default or that the slider can go beyond 100?

Also im assuming this affects masculine characters too? beastren boys' eyes are waaaay too small haha

The slider still goes to 100. At 100, the eyes are 23.3% larger than vanilla 100. Values from -100 to 0 have not changed. Male and female characters use the same face slider data… I think, this should work with male characters, I have not tested on male characters.
