Quick hotfix for weights / influences on helmet's vertexes and chest, also, reducing scale of segmented shoulderpad plates and test of a longer successive plate segment going over the left leg and seeing if it works to just make partial legging armors going over the pants to circumvent / find a loophole around incompatibility issues with the actual state of custom mesh modding that disappears parts of pants already in use.
Also, the helmet as a WIP and because it unfortunately share it's base cranium / base shape with theses, it also replaces base shape of :
- Soldier's Helm - Monarch's Chrown
Looking for a way to separate their designs Because i'd like myself to use the soldier's helm to make the mercenary days / Golden age arc helmet of Guts
dude this is incredible. for anyone who doesnt know, Guts and Griffiths armor sets were available in the original game..temporarily. then were removed on later updates and cant be found anymore. some licensing nonsense i imagine, really dumb. this is the next best thing.
okay im not usually the one to request stuff, but seeing as you've been on an absolute tear with all this berserk stuff, i have to ask, any chance you'd consider making the black swordsman armor? it would probably look amazing in dd2 style, also amazing work
yeah i plan to do that, and probably redo the berserker armor with the same principle i used for the griffith armor, as in, making more parts to be part of the single chestpiece area so part of design will not disappear from other leggings, for now, and because the state of custom mesh modding is STILL in an experimental state, these work around are more or less the "less" for other vocations that wants to wear the armor outside of warrior or fither , would be less of an issue in that current setup.
Delving into the custom mesh modding a bit deeper i discovered a few "ways" to do it so it doesn't disturb too much other pieces design, it still does sometimes but to a much lesser extent then it used to.

it's mostly about the helmet's chin, but i put my guts that is kind of buff in it in those pictures, he still has a very very tiny bit of skin protruding through but it's not too bad, it still scales with head proportions, but if someone goes out of his way to make a pretty large chin it's going to be an issue.
makes sense.Out of curiosity though, have you thought about importing the actual armor sets? Like these look super nice, nothing against you in the slightest. But they aren't quite the same as the original look from the Manga/anime. i Know it's super not easy to fully create new so i understand if you have no intetions, i was just curious is all.
the actual armor sets are pretty low poly / low quality , i wanted to do a more realistic mix of in game assets / textures with remodelling parts of the armors, and in all honesty i am far from finished with the chestpiece hence why it's just in a WIP state, it's going to still change shape a lot.
