My mod is implemented by adjusting the skill values. This is not the base attack speed you want for your Warrior. I know that Nexusmods already has an attack speed mod that implements Berserk Guts. But I haven't tried that mod. So I don 't know anything about that mod. Ask the modder to make fast speed work only when the class is warrior. For a modder, code that determines the character's current class or current weapon is a very easy code.

While I do think the shield skill is unreasonably OP, I also think the knockdown resistance is way too low which I always sort of took it that they expect you to constantly use the shield making it highly dependable, otherwise even a simple goblin can literally lock you from doing anything when they spam attacking you.
I tried to not pick up the shield and just put another skill there, but the result was not so great, felt more like switching to another melee class that will not just get locked and unable to act.
well what I am trying to say is I think this mod would really shine with an overall stats rework to the class itself, making the skill not so unreasonably needed but also not being a complete butter bread without it.
well. Solving the problem by strengthening the character's stats is not what I seek. How about escaping a DeadLocked character using the Lock-On Combat With Dodge mod on the Nexus? I am satisfied with this method. I appreciate your opinion.
for what it's worth, you didnt have to unpack the entire 60 GB game for specific files. there are instructions on the modding discord that tells you how to extract specific files and thats what I did for my mods.
