Thanks this mod is working great !

Think it would be possible to make the same mod but for the archer special arrows ? Would be nice to be able to spam them without being worry to run out of ammo mid fight ;)

just make forgeries of it, it's the only item that will still function as a forgery.

    "A lore-friendly and gameplay-wise ferrystone overhaul."

Does the mod just give you the Eternal Ferrystone or do you actually get to earn it some way? What makes this lore-friendly gameplay-wise?

Edit: Nevermind just saw the file description. You are fighting ghosts. There is no Ferrystone DLC lmao

Just a reference to the original Dragon's Dogma on the PS3 and Xbox 360. You needed to own both the original game and DD: Dark Arisen to have one.

I guess it could be a reference to Dark Arisen, but I honestly don't feel like it was

It almost certainly is a reference to Dark Arisen. Given the mod is named "Make Ferrystone Eternal Again

Eternal Ferrystone is a DLC item in Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. This mod replicates the functionalities of this item. In my point of view, that makes it lore-friendly.

And I consider it gameplay-wise because it’s much more practical and enjoyable this way. The limit and scarcity of Portcrystals are already more than necessary. As Gabe Newell said: fun is NOT realism, but reinforcement.

Would it be possible to make so that only the Eternal Ferrystone you get from the Sphinx would be unlimited? And the normal one still be of single use?
Or the mod already does it? I didn't have the time to test it yet sorry.

As I mentioned in another comment, it is indeed possible, but I won’t do it because I consider it a cheat. Instead, I recommend creating a forgery of the item, as (intelligently) suggested by another user.

The mod doesn't seem to work for me and I use both Fluffy's mod launcher and REframework. Is it conflicting with another mod?

Update: I did some testing and it seems like it was conflicting with the FirstNatives mod which allows you to toggle mods on/off while the game is running. Personally I never really bothered to do that so I disabled the mod to get my Eternal Ferrystone back. No more walking literally everywhere! Thank you!

Sorry for the delay! Please try installing in the following order: REFramework, FirstNatives, and then my mod. It works perfectly for me.

Can you do something similar to the Archer Skill arrows like the exploding/drenching/ect. arrows?

Of course, that’s possible using the same logic. However, I don’t intend to do it because I consider it a cheat. Nevertheless, feel free to modify my code. Thank you for the comment.

What does the mod actually do? I don't see that info anywhere. I have it installed but don't know what I'm looking for. Are the normal ferrystones unlimited use now? Or is there a special eternal one added to the game. If the latter, where is it?

The description doesn't actually say what an Eternal Ferrystone is, you could infer what it likely is, but it doesn't say that the Eternal Ferrystone was an unlimited use Ferry Stone introduced in DD:DA.

Yeah, I did and I still can't tell what the mod actually does. Could you show me exactly where it says this? I know what an eternal ferry stone is but does it magically appear in the inventory? Do I need to buy it? Maybe I'm missing something obvious but I can't see any when loading up my game.

As the name suggests, this mod makes the use of the ferrystone infinite. Please install it using the Fluffy Mod Manager (REFramework necessary).

Why does the file description mention DLC? There aren't any ferrystones in the DLC. It's one Portcrystal and WAKESTONES dude.

I would argue Dark Arisen wasn't DLC since you had to buy the game again, you couldn't just get it as a DLC nor was there an Eternal Ferrystone DLC, I think the mod creator is having a snarky jab at Capcom without knowing there isn't a Ferrystone for purchase.

on the ps3 and xbox 360 Dragons dogma shipped as a standalone game without dark arisen. Later in the games lifecycle you could purchase the dark arisen dlc which would also come with the eternal ferrystone as a loyalty to the og title gift.

Kind of.  I didn't actually know this until recently, but when Dark Arisen first released, it was actually a stand alone game.  You did not need the original base game to play it, since it already contained the base game as well.  At least the physical version of it anyway (which is what I bought, and I had the original too).  I don't know if it had a digital only release as well.

I think however that to get the Eternal (until the remaster/re-release), you did need the original game to see it with the Dark Arisen "expansion" in that it did not appear in the game if you only purchased DA by itself.  It was kind of a thank you to the people that bought the base game.

REframework a must? It's been causing issues for me so I've been avoiding mods that use it.

I might suggest if you are using fluffy mod manager to go into the downloads menu there and enable reframework download there. Don't use the nexus download, I found the nexus download didn't have all the bells and whistles that comes from the download through fluffy, maybe that might help you? haven't come across many mods that don't use it, you should try and get it going.
