I have completely filled the inventory of my main pawn and encountered issues:

I cannot give/ discard/ equip/ unequip anything from their inventory without the game completely crashing.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I have gone mad trying to fix it or narrowing down the cause.

Would it be possible to do this for your character as well? Brilliant idea as well, I found all the mods that change the weight of items way too intrusive and this seems like a nice middle ground, alternatively, a version that just cuts everything in half? Or a version that lets us set the modifier, I know asking a lot. :D

This one is meant to be really simple, but I might make a weight manager mod separately with those kind of features. I'll look into it.

Endorsed! Thanks for this mod. I really like this solution to the constant inventory juggling, as it is very non-intrusive.

Before I use this mod I would really like to know more in detail how it works.
When I remove this mod then what happens?
Will the effect stay? Or what happens to the pawns real inventory?

There's a method in the game to add up all the items in the pawn's inventory and see how much it weights. This mod hijacks that method and, if it's the main pawn, forces the method return zero for the total weight. If it's the player or any other pawn, it runs like normal and gets the real weight.

When you remove the mod, your main pawn's weight will be calculated like normal again, likely over encumbering your pawn and making it so they can't run. Everything is stored in the real inventory of the pawn and nothing will be lost.

I love this mod and idea, beautiful work! However, you say this doesn't alter pawn's stats, so when they are recruited by someone else, wouldn't they be over-encumbered from the amount of items being held?

I don't think the items go with your pawn when they're hired. At least, any pawns I've hired only have their equipped items in their inventory, and I assume people often leave random things in their pawn's inventory (I know I do).

Your main pawn ALWAYS stays with you.
What happens when someone else recruits your pawn it is basically a clone of your pawn that is saved the moment you rest at an Inn.
The clone never has items with them, just their equipped equipment.

Will my pawn get flagged online for using this mod?

The mod doesn't actually change your pawn's stats in any way, so no it shouldn't get flagged online

Yes it has. If your pawn has stats that are impossible to achieve normally, then your pawn will be banned and won't be able to get hired anymore by others.
Plus, you also get banned, and you will only be able to see and hire pawns made by CAPCOM.

    Hi!

How do I install this mod? ^^

You can do it manually by just copying this mod and REFramework into the game install directory. If you're not sure how, I would recommend grabbing Fluffy Mod Manager and just dragging both onto it to install them - no need to extract or anything with Fluffy.

Inventory system in this game is so cumbersome I might use it.

Fluffy isn't required, but it will work with it. It does require REFramework
