Hello! First of all, thank you very much for this mod! Although I have not yet had full use of it, as I haven't gotten the -plague yet, this has helped to keep my stress down about it. Second, I think this mod might not be working with the new update of the game. Makes sense, as they changed those files in the new update, but thought you should know :)
As much as I like this, I wish there was a version without the number on the pawns entirely. I prefer to just open the reframework tool and check there. Less invasive imo.
Were you able to confirm the source of Dragonsplague while making these mods? Theres been a lot of speculation going around online, it would be nice to know the actual origin, whether it be from the fabled tiny chance when grabbed by Drakes or just randomly acquired in the rift.
Unfortunately not yet, but having the counter will help a lot with experimenting. You can take a clean party then go out and fight Drakes and see if getting grabbed causes the count to appear. Or if the count doesn't appear until after they're grabbed and then you sleep.
I did confirm the way it spreads though. If you have an infected pawn in your party, the possession is transferred to another random pawn when you sleep. And the level changes too, sometimes goes up a bit, sometimes down.
I don't know if this helps but I avoided dragonsplauge pawns up until the world changes, and you have to find your main pawn again. When I found her and spoke to her, she had a 1 over her head. That isn't solid evidence, as I did invite 2 pawns before this that had it, but I never went to sleep with them in the party, just dismissed them, and she didn't have a 1 over her head before that story event.
man, i hire a lot of pawns for pawn quests and very rarely get a dragonsplagued. ive just gotten 4 in a row just now. is this rng or are the number of cases growing. maybe im targeted for the time being? thanks for the mod btw. its kinda fun watching it jump from pawn to pawn at campfires and sending friends pawns home with the clap. like they are sneaking around in the night.
I'm not sure what you mean about not showing up in the framework, but I just downloaded the latest version and installed via fluffy. All seems to be working correctly.
You have to open the mod folder for the app, then delete all related to this mod, yes, including the new one. Then drag the latest zip file and drop it into the app to install it, then enable the mod from the app.
If they all show 0 in the script generated UI, then you should be safe. If you're super worried about it, I have another mod to just remove the system entirely: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma2/mods/416
are you sure it's not working? maybe just a Straightforward Pawn being a jerk? anyway even without mod i wouldn't worry too much about Dragonsplague unless their eyes turn super glowing red, and it's very obvious on day 8-10.

Wish you well!
It saved my team from this Dragonplague after hiring infected pawn.
