To anyone asking if I can make another toggle, I may do, but it'll not be as easy as this. This one uses a flag that's probably made for cutscenes and the character creator to hide the Helmet. You are welcome to leave ideas on the comments, but I may not answer them.
After some testing I've added the hotkey back, please remember to: DELETE THE FILE "Steam\steamapps\common\Dragons Dogma 2\reframework\HideHelmetsHo\settings.json" IF UPDATING FROM A PREVIOUS VERSION
The mod worked for me for a month without any problems and now I get an error message from the script runner when I start the game. The mod is also not displayed under Script Generated UI
sol: runtime: error: caught (...) exception stack traceback: [C]: in method 'get_data' ...\Dragons Dogma 2\reframework\autorun/Hotkeys/Hotkeys.lua:40: in local 'generate_statics' ...\Dragons Dogma 2\reframework\autorun/Hotkeys/Hotkeys.lua:58: in main chunk [C]: in function 'base.require' ...on\Dragons Dogma 2\reframework\autorun\HideHelmetsHo.lua:1: in main chunk
I deleted and recreated the files several times and re-read the game archives. I have also completely reinstalled the mod manually. The data folder is also missing in the reframework folder as if this would not be created. I wonder what could have happened. It's quite sad because I really love the mod.
Hi, a question to anyone with the know-how to answer this.
Is it possible to edit the HideHelmetsHo.lua file so that rather than hiding the helmets of all three Pawns simultaneously, only the helmet of the Main Pawn gets hidden instead? If so, what would need to be edited?
The mod works perfectly fine. However, when I use the Master Skill "Wild Fury" on my Mystic Spearhand, the helmet is still visible on my clone. I find this amusing and just wanted to bring this 'issue' to your attention.

Would it be possible for you to make a mod like this but for capes?

If only the helmet could be hidden on cutscenes.
Now, if you're bored and want to do one to hide the cloaks as well...
then delete settings!
