I divided mod into 3 downloads for each hairstyle and improved compatibility with Mod Manager. Each hairstyle now has 3 options for hairstyles they could replace.
The mod got updated again. I found another way to swap hair meshes that preserves their intented phycis. I also edited hair textures to have root/tip blend similair to vanilla hairstyles. THIS VERSION WOULD AFFECT NPC'S THAT USE THOSE HAIRSTYLES!
Sadly no, since they share textures I prioritised correct look for on the player/pawn for this hairstyle. Otherwise the hair colour won't blend correctly and some hair colours would look off.
I tried to install ulrika's hair and choose slot 2, but it doesn't change the hair, I installed with fluffy, I can't understand what I did wrong, help please ;-;
Oh I'll try to install other slots, thanks I never thought of that. No I didn't install other hair mods, I only have this one, a character preset, libraries and the no weight mod
Hello I am going to try to install this thank you so much - I hope it works! I have 2 questions please: 1) Would the game remove this mod or not if they find out? 2) Can other players see the mod hairstyle on Pawns or would that only be if they installed the mod themselves too? Is there a way to make it so they would see it even if they didn't install the mod? I wouldn't want other players to see my Pawn bald or smthg xD
Hi, I'm not sure I understood your first question, but to answer your second question: only people who installed this mod and use the same hairstyle number replacer as you will see it correctly on your pawn. It wouldn't be bald because I didn't replace bald hairstyle, but if a person who hired your pawn doesn't have this mod installed, they would see vanilla hairstyle. Unfortunately there is no way to force other players to see the modded hairstyle.
Noticed an issue with coloration on atleast the WIlhemina style. Only one I've tried thus far, but it seems to really water down yellow and red colors. Most other colors still run strong but the deepest, strongest reds come out as more like ruddy browns on atleast the Wilhemina hairstyle (The only one I was interested in lol)
would it somehow be possible to make wilhelmina's hair compatible with hats? :') i wanted so baad to wear it with the witch hat but it just made me bald headed
I don't think dev's intended it to be compatible with hats. But I'm not entirely sure how hat compatibility work, so I can't truly replicate it even if I edited the mesh.
May I ask if it's not too much, that it would be possible to make Wilhelmina and Ulrika's hairstyle replace Hair #7 on the list (it's the one with the hair all pulled back into a pony tail) because this is the one that I run with on DD2 for my female Pawn and that way for people who use my Pawn, that's the hairstyle they will see, however for me I will have the option of either using Wilhelmina or Ulrika's hair.
Again, if it's not asking too much, that would be great, since I was bummed that they did not have the NPC's hairstyles as an option for us.
You can change hairstyle for your pawn in the capital for 10k gold. I'm sorry but adding more variants for which hairstyles are getting replaced is not a priority at the moment.
I see, I only wanted it, so that the hairstyle would stay the same for everyone else, since it's the default one that looks best on my pawn, while for me, I would be able to run Wilhelmina's Hairstyle on my part. However, may I ask, how did you do it, that maybe, I could possibly just modify it myself?
Hello, would you be able to DM me as well? I have experience with creating mods for several games and working in Blender, so I'm hoping I can tackle it. I just don't want my pawn to look goofy to everyone else, while looking good in my game.

I will definitely treat myself with some pizza soon.
