About this mod

Nice Reshade to live up your gameplay.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
N1ce Reshade

A Reshade preset to boost some colors and get rid of the washed out greyish overlay that seems to be the trend on modern games.

I tried to keep it simple and clean so the UI and menus don't completely break.
I might add more screenshots later on because I don't have really any screenshots of nights or caves.

Performance wise it makes hardly any difference.

IMPORTANT!!
Reshade just updated to version 6.1.0. on March 28th. If that version of reshade causes crash on start up. Get the old 6.0.1 version from their repository:
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/8ar1jhh1809cl/ReShade_Repository#zusv9lbcrhlx2

Use REFramework version nightly674

How to Install

1. BACKUP YOUR SAVE
(steam install directory/userdata/[youruserID]/2054970/remote/win64_save..)

2. Install RE Framework

3. Start your game to initialize the RE Framework
(at this point I had really bad fps from the framework but restarting game fixed it later)
Now you can close the game obviously.

4. Install Reshade (directx12-install all shaders(uncheck-checkall))
No need to move the reshade files anywhere. They just work after the REFramework.

5. Place the N1ceReShade.ini into the game root folder
(\steamapps\common\Dragons Dogma 2)

6. Start the game. Let the Reshade do it's thing first and then open the menu with HOME.
Make sure the N1ceReShade.ini is set as your preset.

Side note: I did not touch any of the REFramework settings. (vignette, fov etc.) Do what you wish but know that everything gets alot brighter if you disable the vignette.

Some known issues with the Reshade:
Sometimes in the desert the yellow sunlight seems a bit too yellow. So I need to figure out how to work around that.

Nice.
