This mod is called Simple for a reason - it offers minimal changes for those who want close to vanilla experience. For more complex camera see these ones: True Shoulder Camera, Vocation Auto Camera Switcher.
The mod is tested and confirmed to work with "Dragon's Dogma 2 Title Update - 29.01.2025". Make sure to keep REFramework and all your other mods and tools up to date.
Man, you're a lifesaver. Constantly changing fov should be a crime. Shadow of the tomb raider had the exact same problem, it just gives me nausea from all this image warping
Works great! May I ask for a 90 fov version please? Or if possible, point me in the direction to edit it myself? I got REtools but I don't know how to edit user.2 files.
I managed to modify this mod to make a 90 fov version of it. I would gladly share it with you... but would need the author's permission and the means to properly share it without voilating the site's policies.
Is there a way to ALWAYS fix the FoV even indoors and on stairs and so on (I know it will cause problems with walls but I can live with that)? Even with this mod the camera is zooming in and out 24/7 it's giving me a headache.
First of all, you're talking about two mods that both change FOV and distance, so they're incompatible by definition.
Second important part is, I did take a look and that mod (same as some others) includes ALL camera files into the pak even the ones which are unchanged. It's not good at all for compatibility and it needs to be addressed by corresponding mod authors.

May you tell me what program you used to edit the user.2 files?
and i would like your mod too because of the transition annoys me a lot feel like the cam gets way to far away from player makes it more like diablo than anything else. is it possible to make a compatibility patch?
