Hi just was wondering if this mod is affected by skill-maker and ones that create new vocations i don't want to use them in warfarer but as separate classes sort of thing but don't want to mess up this mod as it is really good to play with
This mod will only do the skill swapping when you are using the warfarer vocation (job 10), if you are using mods that add a new class then you should be safe.
Do feel free to try it along with this mod, and if anything happens you can just remove/disable this mod and it won't affect anything as it only interacts with your current progress and skills, and nothing much else.
Hello, amazing mod. I just want to report that with the recent changes to Dullahan mod, it seems to conflict with this mod. Dullahan version 4.19 added rearmament as a core skill to warfarer which caused crashing with this mod installed after using rearmament multiple times. Dullahan version 4.20 fixed the crashing but now enhanced warfarer seems to break and does not change the skill sets for each weapon after using rearmament. You have to disable and enable the mod manually every time you want to have your skills change to the correct vocation.
I'll certainly look into this, I use versions before 4.19 as the author has removed a few things that I really liked about the mod, like the double jump on all vocations etc. But I can add in some code to handle it.
Seems as though the true mystic knight mod by Nickesponja causes the game to crash when doing a light attack followed by rearmament. Just leaving this here in case it helps anyone with troubleshooting. Tysm for the mod it's working wonders otherwise <3
You can use "Skill Preset Switcher" mod. It allow you to cycle through any vacations any time (you can enable and disable them as you wish) and create many skills presets and cycle through them or bind them to buttons. I use 2 skills presets: one binded to R1, another to L1. If you play on gamepad you need additional buttons to cycle through vacations. Or you need dualshock 4/5 with touch panel. You can bind vacation switch in steam input settings to touch panel. (Sorry for my English)
Looks likes a very fun mod. Unfortunately, D2D doesn't seem to work with linux currently based on what I can find on the github page. I will keep checking into it and hope support for it comes some day so I can try it. Till then keep up the good work.
This doesn't work with skill unlocker. When you try to put the skills in the UI the skills doesn't appear. I use True Warfarer mod, but i will switch with this one since it might get the update i really want ( 4 skills). Thank you.
PS: Please make the future update for rearmament button Controller available. Geez i am pushing my luck. sorry.
Do you know if this mod works with something like An Alternative Skill Swapper? https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma2/mods/270 Want more skill slots per class :P
From the looks of it, it does look compatible. I've not tested it out myself, but you can certainly try both mods at the same time and it shouldn't affect anything. Just do note that "An Alternative Skill Swapper" does not support Dullahan, so the skills won't show in it's skillset, but it looks like it keeps the currently equipped skills and swaps them with the alternate ones each time. So it should be safe to use.
Firstly, I love the mod; I think it works in a much more straightforward fashion as opposed to the other warfarer unlocked style mods I've tried using.
To comment though on the compatibility with Transmogrify however, this mod does work when using it, however only in part. What specifically happens is the mod will show your skills selected, and when you use rearmament the skills won't switch until you open a menu like the map or inventory screens. Then it will refresh the skill selection and show the skills of the vocation you "switched" to, but you need to do this pretty much every time.
No idea how helpful that may be for debugging or whatnot -- seeing as this seems endemic to transmog/warfarer mods as per your description -- but I'd figure I'd throw in the feedback.
So pretty much on a weapon swap via rearmament, the skillset is not being updated unless a menu has been opened/closed. I can see why this is happening, as I hook onto the on weapon change.
I'll check the transmogrify mod and see what that is using to determine when a weapon is swapped and get it compatible
With the latest 1.4.0 update, Transmogify v4.0+ is now supported. It will automatically detect it being installed, and apply the correct hooks for switching skillsets per a weapon.
After a fairly lengthy playtest of me slaughtering goblins and wyrms, I can confirm that the update is working smoothly! Thanks for the compatibility patch. :]
I will try to see if this mod can work with True Warfarer or produce any chemical changes, just like I used Dullahan, Gameplay UwU, and Redogma at the same time before which resulted in unlimited consumption and recovery of stamina and unlimited health. LMAO
working good, actually do the same thing but better also ui is good design now i ues true warfarer and An Alternative Skill Swapper by same creator until sec skill slot done i will change to this mod for game stability But one of them may still be kept, because TW and AASS have language support
I have added some language support for skill names within the debug menu, sadly everything else will be in english as it is difficult to support without being a native speaker. And it relies on the in-game translations.
