Update: Due to popular demand, it should now be possible to find a specific item from the icon and the google sheets link from the mod description, just match the icon with the ID as described.

    Q: Mesh mod enabler?
Content editor's description mentions MME compatibility. MME 1.04 should work well enough in that it launches before content editor and
applies whatever changes it needs to the data. Reset scripts will still fail but at that point it's not an issue. If you specifically need 1.05 to make the mod launch fine, you can rename the MeshModEnabler.lua file into 0MeshModEnabler.lua to make it run earlier.

    In case of other issues:

    • Verify you're running the latest nightly REF (not the nexus version)
    • Verify you're running the latest content editor version
    • Verify you're on the latest game version (there could be some specific changes in older versions

The Item tools optional or content editor's dev tools can let you give the these new items directly to the arisen. Do those items work fine or are they broken as well (e.g. Invalid or showing as a rotten apple or similar issues)? If they're broken or the UI isn't there, the mod or its requirements probably weren't installed properly.

Are elven outfits also available? I checked sacred arbor there's nothing new.

Nothing was added to elven shops, but every single NPC outfit is somewhere, except for a few color variations of the same meshes. Check if what you're looking for is in the item images.

      Your options are:
      - Max out his affinity
      - Kill & revive him
      - Install the item unlocker optional file and visit Ibrahim
      - Find the item in content editor and use the "Give item" button
      - Use "Item tools data" optional file

    Love the mod.

Only issue I'm having is I'm using another armor mod that uses MME (https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma2/mods/932?tab=description)

It alters Stargazer top and I've tried following the pinned comment and neither 1.05 or 1.04 MME fixes the problem for me. This mod overrides it. Anyone have an idea how I keep the appearance from another mod with both mods active?

    Thanks!

This mod doesn't modify any vanilla equippable items so if it's actually _overwriting_ and not just MME not being able to run, then it's probably some other content editor bundle modifying it. Either way, the changes can be migrated over from MME:
      1. disable whatever bundle is modifying stargazer's top style from content editor
      2. restart the game so MME will do its changes again
      3. find the top style you disabled earlier, it should now show whatever MME did to it. save it to a new bundle.
      4. uninstall Arch Stargazer mod
      5. profit

Hey, might be late to the party but found a quick fix for anyone else having the issue.
I.e scrolled through previous posts and found the answer, thanks Larrycurra

      1. Go into your Dragon Dogma 2/reframework/autorun folder
      2.Change MeshModEnabler.lua to 0MeshModEnabler.lua
      3. Re-start DD2

Worked for me, best of luck

I wish the pawns had more than four voice options. Like using Npc voices aswell. I wonder why they only gave us 4.

I installed this mod & the unlock all outfits in Ibrahims shop extra, but there is like a fraction of the items shown in the shop compared to the images you show, what i do wrong?

Working as intended. The unlocker only unlocks the important NPC items to bypass the quest / affinity requirements. Anything not specific to single NPCs is still spread across the traveling merchants.

This mod is a dream come true thank you so much for this.. My only question is if they update this and the mod breaks would it mess up our save file because the mod broke?

Depends on what and how they update it. In the current version, anything unknown just gets removed from the inventory with no issues, if you were to uninstall. Assuming they don't change that, you're safe. Could they change it? Yes. Is it likely to happen? No, but I'm not the devs so I can't give you a 100% answer. If they do, I'll look for a way to work around it.

Are the clothes in this mod able to be edited with Content Editor on the user's end? So, for example, I could remove a necklace part from a top? I do this a lot with the vanilla clothing and was wondering if it would still be possible as I've been unable to do so with these outfits as yet. I do appreciate that you added multiple variations of many outfits, largely removing the necessity for manual edits.

Yes. The previous comment on here did just that. I recommend saving changes to a separate bundle and not directly the one from the mod, so you don't end up losing your own changes if you ever remove or reinstall the mod.

      > I've been unable to do so with these outfits as yet
I'd have to know what exactly the issue here is. All the items are visible in the item lists in the same way as vanilla items as long as you have the mod bundle enabled. One possible issue is that some NPC meshes aren't as modular as the player equippable ones, so the necklace in question could also be part of the same submesh as the base cloth and not separately toggleable.

Hi, first of all... amazing mod!
Have a question tho, is it possible for me to edit Item stats/name/description? I'd like to do that for my personal use.

Also maybe a bit of a dumb question, but can I distribute or remove a particular item to/from a shop?

    Thanks!

Everything's created through Content Editor, meaning everything can also be modified through it. The tooling stuff in this mod here is mainly there because of bulk editing, for individual changes the Content Editor is where you should look to.

There's a basic writeup here, but basically just open up the editor, find the item you want to edit, change its parameters there, press save. For shops, go under the shops tab in the editor, find the buy list for shop you wish to add/remove items from, and modify the items in there.

Yeah, I managed to do it even before I have seen your reply. But thank you very much still!

I have another question tho, is it normal that your mod overwrites other Armor replacer mods? I am using short waistcoat armor mod for Soulskin armor, and it's just the vanilla one after I have installed your mod.

It doesn't overwrite anything that isn't being explicitly modified by a bundle. What you're probably seeing is Mesh Mod Enabler killing itself because of custom entries - see the pinned comment. Alternatively, you can just go make the same edit to it through Content Editor and skip MME.

      Thanks!<3 Looks like it worked.

Weird though, I had made some changes to the armor values and item names/descriptions, they reverted back...? Could it be because I de-activated and reactivated the mod?(didn't redownload, was the same module) .... All the changes for nothing.. damn.

Content Editor needs you to manually press save if you're doing any changes, it doesn't autosave. There should be a pretty obvious save button and notice for unsaved changes. Alternatively, if you were editing directly on my bundle, Fluffy might've replaced your modified bundle with my original one when you reactivated - it's best to create a new bundle instead of modifying an existing one so you have separate files.

Of course I have saved the file. But I have just edited yours.
I didn't think fluffy would just generate a new file to overwrite again, weird. Oh well... next time I'll create a new bundle.

Such a great mod! I have an issue tough: some armor pieces crash my game. I haven't managed to consistently reproduce the issue, but the 'mantle-rings' sold by Dudly in Melve, seems to do it all the time.
Thank you if you read this, and took the time to reply

Haven't had any crashes myself or had any other reports about it so I assume you have some other mod running that breaks something. See if there's any errors ingame in REF script runner section. If I had to guess, a mod that requires Mesh Mod Enabler, and you haven't done the workaround mentioned in the pinned comment / content editor page.

I don't use MME but it is indeed not this mod that is the problem from the info i gathered.I only experience the crashes with this mod, because its the only one that I have that uses Content Editor features. The problem is that most of the time when I'm shopping at merchants that use updated inventory I crash after some scrolling.
I get this error in ref framework:
[2025-03-14 03:40:33.522] [REFramework] [error] sol: runtime error: ... Dogma 2\reframework\autorun/editors\items\item_data.lua:408: attempt to index a nil value (field '_TxtInfo')
      stack traceback:

This happens a dozen times, and after that in the log i can find this line:
      '2025-03-14 03:41:12.418] [REFramework] [error] Exception occurred: c0000005'
Sadly Im not knowledgeable enough to know what this means, and I exhausted all the common troubleshoot options(reinstall newest versions from GIT, reinstall game, etc) so any help is much appreciated

You know what, that might actually be an issue with the newer REF version, because it changed something about how hooks work. I'll look into it. In the meanwhile, you can try reverting REF to nightly 01103 in case that fixes it (https://github.com/praydog/REFramework-nightly/releases/tag/nightly-01103-9313e7f86923445e40f8562777a57fa239621c46).

Edit: you can also try the latest github release of Content Editor, I'll update nexus a bit later after I do a bit more testing.

The newer Content Editor version fixed the issue or at least it seems like it by a quick test. Thank you for your support, I really appreciate it!

Thank you for your work, everything still works and this has been a huge improvement to the in game clothing selection. I was wondering if you did commissioned mods as well?
A bit different from your usual work but I would love to have the inventory system enabled when at a camp as well as disabling the camp notification about leaving camp so we can freely mess with our inventories and walk around at camps in the wilderness. Please contact me if you would be interested in doing something like this
