Thank you so much. I'm so confused why this effect was even included in the game, especially without an option to turn it off. Did none of the devs or play testers notice how horrible it looks in the sky at night?
OKAY SO .. i figured out how to utilize Arctool and the original Vignette Remover mod on my Steam Deck (Arch Linux/Steam OS). here's what you gotta do.
download ArcTool + its batch files, and then the original Vignette Remover mod. extract both to the DDDA directory. move the Arctool executable and all of its .bat files to the "Vignette Remover v-1-99-1" folder. move your nativePC folder into the "Vignette Remover v-1-99-1" folder.
open up the "Mod Installer - Vignette Remover v1.bat" file and replace all of the back slashes (\) with forward slashes (/).
download Wine, q4Wine, and Flatseal from Discover in desktop mode. give the former two access to all files yadda yadda in Flatseal. open up q4Wine and get it all set up.
open the file explorer in q4Wine, go to your DDDA directory in steamapps where the Vignette file is. double-click "Mod Installer - Vignette Remover v1.bat" and follow the steps.
I would be grateful if you uploaded unpacked textures of the body model here, I want to create a retexture of bodies myself, because in the game of the body it's just muck
Hello, VorkM. What is the difference, before and after, modding: For example: camera_shadow_NOMIP_BM.tex(original) vs camera_shadow_NOMIP_BM.tex(modded):

I don't think it is necessary. Probably it works from time to time or probably it no longer works. Anyway, it doesn't break your game.

Again, thank you! vignette is a cool feature when used in certain story moments, when playing in general i like to see colours.

Supposed to be fixed, but for me it isn't, and googling around a number of other people are still suffering it as well.
Shame this game is just in such a half working state, especially if you've got an ultrawide monitor.

Would it be possible to make a download with pre-modded files? I am playing on Steam Deck and installing the tools is quite the hassle.

Question for you: The Mod Installer folder that remains in the DDDA folder after this mod's installation: does it serve a purpose, or is it cruft?
