Unfortunately, my performance tanks when I have both enb & reshade going. It probably doesn't help that I downloaded all the texture packs I could..
Any recommendation on which settings to tweak in either enb or reshade to get better performance? If I could squeeze out 30 more frames, I think I would be acceptable.
I've got a 2080 RTX, and I'm running at about 17fps lol. If I turn one of enb or reshade off, performance it jumps up to around 60fps.
The reshade worked fine until i got into Man Swallowing Falls. I looked for fixes online and most said to install Reshade 4.9.1 instead because its more stable but the game will only open for a few seconds and then close. Gives me an error saying Failed open file C:\Windows\system32\nativePC\usershader\BbsShaderPackage.mfx
edit: if i stop up right before copying the wickfut files, the game still works
. As for this mod while the color of the people is ok the backgrounds still don't look very good. The home to make the mod show doesn't work for some reason.
Hey great job combining enb and reshade presets. It works great, but for some reason I usually have launch the game twice for reshade to take. I checked the enblocal.ini and made sure everything matches and all the values are as they should. I can't figure out what's going on. Does anyone have any idea of how to solve this issue?
Excellent mod! (didnt install from Nexus but from the website) Never felt Dragons Dogma had much color on its own. it feels like their is so much more life in the game now than there was before!
heya! Just coming in to say yes! if you can place the files where they need to be (easy on the deck if you have the steam version) you can install the needed files. However, performance does take a hit. Originally I was able to play the game with all settings at high at 800p 60fps, after the install it went down to about 20-30 fps. But after some tweaking with the settings, I was able to strike a happy medium between crisp visuals with the reshade. Honestly Steam Deck approved!
Hey, thank you for the ENB and Reshade presets. It really makes the game playable for me again. However, I have ran into a slight issue. Whenever I try to load into the Bitterblack Isle world space, the game freezes but the audio continues (there's no chatter from the pawns, just weather and ambient audio). By removing the ENB and Reshade .DLL files, the outside part of the island will load. However, Interior parts of Bitterblack will load with the ENB and Reshade enabled.
I'm unsuccessful in finding any documentation about an issue as mine. I've tried downgrading my ENB. I've swapped Reshade versions. The problem still remains. If anyone may have a bit of a clue on what I could try, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!
Idk if you already fixed the issue but it seems the problem is in the Reshade version, the version that doesn't seem to crash is Reshade 4.9.1. Get that one if you want to use Reshade besides an enb
First install Reshade then rename ''d3d9.dll'' you get from reshade into ''Reshade.dll'' and put the enb files inside the game folder. Open enblocal and in the proxy tab it needs to say:
STEP BY STEP for anyone who doesn't know (RESHADE + ENB):
1 - Get Reshade 4.9.1 from https://www.mediafire.com/file/wdfnrzhsk0bea07/ReShade_Setup_4.9.1.exe/file 2 - Open Reshade exe, select DDDA, select Directx9, select the your prefered Reshade preset.ini and install the required shaders 3 - Go into your game directory folder and rename ''d3d9.dll'' into ''Reshade.dll'' 4 - Put all enb files into your game folder. 5 - Open enblocal.ini find the ''PROXY'' tab and change it to the following:
Hello there, I'm using Reshade v4.9.1, and even after following all the steps and triple-checking, [email protected] is missing in Reshade. I'm guessing that it's from a newer version of Reshade, but I'd prefer to stick with 4.9.1 as it's known to be more stable with DDDA. Is there any consequence to this fx missing/is there an alternative I should activate, or am I good?
Thats the shader thats used to denoise skin. try downloading my shader pack in the downloads and copying only that file. the filename is [Denoise.fx] I dont think its a big deal to play without it either.

Should I choose Dragon's Dogma or ENB Host in the selection window?
